.. and only 3 points behind Detroit. They've got a decent lineup but hopefully they fall back down to earth and off of our tails soon.
Well they're going to continue to work hard, it's more whether Bob can continue to play Vezina worthy goaltending for another 15-18 games. I'm gonna say no.

I think it'll be tough for C-bus to pull ahead of us, but after years of getting regularly smacked down by the Wings, those long-time Jackets players have to love the idea of finishing ahead of Detroit in the Wings' final season in the division. Probably a bit of motivation there, on top of wanting to make the playoffs.
Wow, the Jackets 8-0-2 last 10, they just keep on winning. It is surprising, I think.
Impressive run, but they now only have five home games left. Chicago on the first of the month and that visit to the Joe are the only times they have played away all month.
Home: 10-4-5
Away: 3-8-1
I do think they are playing well but this is worth pointing out.
They have also sent 9 of their last 12 games to overtime. While an interesting strategy I have to believe that will have some toll, that is a lot of extra hockey and they are about to go on the road non-stop. Wish them luck, we don't play them again and their fans deserve better, obviously as long as a playoff spot doesn't come at our expense.
Didn't the Jackets traded their best player? The Rangers are struggling, the Jackets are doing better without Nash.
Yup says a lot about Nash even though he has been one of the Rangers best players. He is a good player, really is an all-star. However, Rick Nash and superstar should never be uttered anywhere in the same sentence. He has to be one of the most overrated players I have seen, in the amount of assets a lot of people would have moved for him and how great everyone thinks he is.

Its because he has all the tools to be a superstar in the league but has never, and probably will never, put it all together.

Columbus is finally playing as a team, their D corps is top 10 in the league, they have lots of hard working players who go all out for 60 mins and finally have a goalie who can stop the puck.

Same thing happened with Atlanta/Winnipeg. They're a better team when they're not focusing on one guy.

I guess it is about a team player. One player can be great, but it does not mean the team will be winning because of him. He has to play for the team, not just for himself.
Look at that, a GM actually being aggressive instead of just saying he's being aggressive.
Amazing how Shero finds ways to make trades while the prices are just so out of hand!
