Jobke could join the Aeros later this week:

Link

Also Gunnarsson got a goal in Luleå's playoff game against Frölunda sunday. Gustafsson has started in all three games so far as is expected to be in net for tonight's game four.

Yea I saw Seeler when UMD killed them like 6-0 the other week. He barely played and was hemmed in his own end whenever he did play. Not impressed at all by his game

Seeler sounds like Nate Prosser. Mobile D-man with some flashes of great play, aggressive and physical nature but most of the time just stuck in his own zone.

I haven't thought much of his play either. But, he's only a freshman and was a fifth rounder, so hopefully he can become a project.

Yeah that would be a pretty good comparison. I think Seeler will be more mobile than Prosser (I think Prosser is a bit of a slug), but they're similar players. One thing that sticks out for Prosser and Seeler is that they're both listed at 6'2", but they look smaller than that out on the ice.

Very poor source but looks like Kärpät (finnish hockey team) are really trying to get Haula for next season.

I'm not belittling the source or anything, but my Chrome translation of this is hilarious:

Quote:
The Wild Card round of the series-lock lost to the Miami Dolphins is a high speed, building a team in the upcoming season.

Finnish Hockey -site data, followed by a catch currently ranks Univ of Minnesota ranks playing Erik Haulan .

21-year old Finnish striker is a Minnesota Wild summer 2009 seventh-round pick.

NCAA series Haula has hit this season 35 match outputs 16 33 = 49

Haula was little lions in the squad for the 2011 World Junior Championships. Then 6 match Haula struck 7 (4 +3) points.
Miami Dolphins? Little lions in the squad? lol wut. The latter probably refers to him playing in the U20 WJC, no? But what is the context on the Miami reference?

Lol, apparently google translates the team oulun kärpät to miami dolphins. Pikkuleijonat=little lions is the nickname of the finnish u20 team

Prosser is surprisingly heavy. 3rd heaviest (strongest?) guy on the team I believe.

I can see, though, that his lack of production could warrant a change. However, I don't think he's being ineffective out there (not being in on the forecheck, turning pucks over, missing his d coverage, etc.).
Coyle is doing just what the Wild brass brought him up for. Plus he is getting stronger and better each game.

I see no reason to move him from the 1st line at this time, but if he goes thru a stretch where he is not cycling, controling down low, fore/back checking hard, then maybe a trip back to the AHL. But he is doing just fine right now.

So was Granlund, yet neither was producing enough to be considered top six players.

I dunno about you, but I don't want to see guys scoring 25-30 points on the top line over 82 games.

I mean, you just described the play of an ideal 3rd/4th liner. Missing the crucial element, scoring or create scoring chances.

Without power play assists Koivu would have like 12 points right now. That line just isn't the best even strength scoring line. I really don't think its Coyle's fault, I think thats on Koivu. There just isn't a playmaker who draws players to him on that line. Koivu, Coyle, and Parise are all high end grinders. Not a bad thing but they really don't have the traits of a even strength scoring line. Not enough creativity in the offensive zone imo

Bouchard would be a perfect fit for that reason.

I like Coyle, I like his game and he is a better third wheel/invisible worker than Heatley ever was. That said, I would still like some more production from that line. They lack scoring right now, as there is not a real pure finisher out there. Coyle might be eventually able to develop into an offensive power forward capable of 25-30 goal seasons, but I don't see it yet. He is a righty though, which might be the sole reason he is on that line.

Any interest in that Myles Bell kid? I know he a Heatley-like incident and went undrafted. Mostly played D, but played forward this year and led his team (Kelowna) in scoring.

From what I read around draft time last year, he has more emotional issues besides his incident. There's a reason no one, no one looked at him.

I have no idea how Kärpät would translate to Miami Dolphins .

But seriously, Chrome (or google or whatever) translating Finnish to English produces some hilarious results. Finnish is a hard language to translate and unlike languages like Swedish it has little in common with English regarding things like language structure. I used translator a lot for my Swedish essays in school and I imagine they were pretty awful

Don't know much about Bussieres except his numbers but is he on a faster track then thought when he was drafted?

That's a good question actually. I'd say no.

I think his numbers were pretty much similar before he was drafted. Might need to go check it back though.
