Rinne is our goalie of the future - he looked great last season with the big club, and was stellar in the AHL last season. Klein is gonna be solid, but he is not of the All-Star calibur that Rinne will be.

I don't think either will be of "all-star caliber" ... just really solid serviceable NHLers

from what Trotz and Korn have said about Rinne.....I wouldn't bet against Rinne on that one.

I really like Rinne...so I'm a tad-bit biased...but...I think Rinne will impress a lot of people next season and force his way onto the Nashville bench by the end of the year. Even Mason said as much when he signed his contract.

I'm very interested to see how Pekka rebounds at the start of the season from his "meltdown" during the Calder Cup Finals, but have full confidence that he will thrive next season in the AHL again. If anything, Mason will be kept all season and Rinne will be allowed to play out the year in Milwaukee...then Mason will be traded in the offseason.

Rinne will be in the NHL full-time within the next year and a half.

Hahaa

I'm going against the grain. I think Franson will be one of our top defenders when he hits the NHL.

Hopeful are we? Franson must one of the best at his level before he wins out top prospect spots, a la Radu, Rinne, etc...

I agree. I think he will really dominate this season in the WHL and show how big of a steal he was in the third round. He combines size, skating ability, and physical play...all the best attributes of a defenseman into a 6'4" package.

I was planning on voting for him with my next pick.
