Stolarz is doing well so far. Look at who else is supposedly in the Goalie section for London: http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/s...how/game/64314

Pittsburgh is going to be pissed when their future defenseman is actually a backup goalie

If he really could have helped the team no doubt he would have stayed. He did look good in his games though, I just think it was a numbers game as well.

Neither did Couts last year. This year he looks different though.

Stolarz picked up the win in OT. He stopped 22 of 24.

Derek Mathers joining the Phantoms tomorrow.

Also OHL season is done. Cousins finished 3rd in the OHL with 103 points in 64 games.

Stolaz finished the season 13-3-1 with a gaa of 2.29 and sv% .920

Now he doesn't have to worry about silly fighting rules anymore. The Phantoms could use a good enforcer down there.

I'm hoping London, Portland, and Halifax make it. Looking forward to seeing some good prospects.

London vs Portland should be fun. London is a defensive beast, but Portland has some crazy offense.

Looks like McGinn has played 4 games for ADK since returning from injury and has 7 points.

yah mcginn is gonna be a good guy for us for years

he is not gonna be a star, but he is gonna be a guy that scores some, hits, fights. noebels is another guy i cant wait to see in a few years.a line of noebels-laughton-mcginn is gonna be a great 3rd line for us. then cousins-rinaldo, is gonna be a pretty crazy and energetic, annoying 4th line.

No, leave him down. Replacing Briere with McGinn will only bring back to life the best line we had this year: McGinn-Schenn-Simmonds..... #Don'tStopTheTank

Cousins has more offensive potential then any of the third liners you just named. I would say if he's an NHLer it's as a 3rd line winger maybe w/ Laughton. Simmonds on the other wing would absolutely irritate every team in the league while putting up points IMO. Really hope they Flyers don't make any stupid trades with these young guys cause the future is bright for this organization in terms of quality young forwards at least.

Cousins killed it. People should be more excited about him.

Hey, remember when Maroon and Grumet-Morris killed it? Some players transition is easier than others. We can only hope Cousins will be one of those players.

I agree with cautious optimism, but let's get a little excited.

Akeson, at 22 yrs old is putting up alot of points in the AHL too, and I haven't heard his name mentioned as a callup. It shows how important it is being a two-way player in the NHL. I am a fan of McGinn's though. He opens up the ice for the other forwards. I think he could play well on the 2nd PP.

Akeson's chances have to get a little better once and if Briere is moved. I like McGinn as well. Fun to watch a guy hit everything that moves and have that chaos generate chances at the same time.
