Really? Pyatt on the 2nd line? He's a grinder a not necessarily a setup man for Richards and Gabby.

I think we should be trying to get Gaborik going, putting Pyatt, who has one single point in the last 21 games is not the ideal situation.

Pyatt has been the biggest letdown on the team this season thus far.

Some killer instinct tonight is a must.

No excuses for this to be close. Foot on the gas.

Nope, that award goes to Asham.

Was anyone really expecting him to do anything for the team? I wouldn't call it a letdown if that was to be expected.

So some of you guys want to reward Pyatt for his 1 point in the last 21 games and demote Cally to the third line? Is that what I am reading? Cally, step, and hags have been the best line the last three games and you want to change that? It's a good thing some of you have to get on the bus this morning and go to school because there is no way a average adult would think this way!! Don't forget your 10 am snack!!!!

It appears to be Ryan Callahan's birthday today.

This time last year, he scored that awesome OT winner against Detroit. His 27th on his 27th. Lets see if he works some similar magic tonight.

If we don't get points versus this team..... There might be a problem. This one has to be a must win

Pyatt looked great on the 3rd line earlier this season. I wonder what's going on with him.

There's not a doubt in my mind:

Gabs - Richie - Nash
Hagelin - Step - Cally
Kreider - Boyle - Miller
Pyatt - Halpern - Powe

Now for what the lines SHOULD be?

Nash - Richards - Gaborik
Hagelin - Stepan - Callahan
Kreider - Gomez - Jagr
Powe - Halpern - Orr

Looking forward to seeing what happens with Kreider and Miller on the same line, if that's how the lineup shakes out. I feel like they could be a nightmare for the opposing team with their speed or a nightmare for the Rangers with turnovers.

Meh at Boyle but he has to play with someone. At least he can be the defensive responsibility with those two. As long as they have each other, it should be alright.

Well we can all hope that this represents Kreider turning the corner, he stays up and continues to be a regular contributor for us.

I do think we could use a player like him if we are to try to make a splash this season.

Rangers twitter reported Kreider was the first player on the ice for practice today, calling it now, kid is going to play a monster game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm disappointed in Pyatt's recent disappearance too but he was signed purely for depth. Gaborik and Richards are reasons 1a. and 1b. as to why this team is struggling so bad.

Have to agree with you, hes looked terrible. Like i said in another thread, I dont think there has been a more useless bottom liner then him since Hall on this team.

Nah, it's gotta be Stu. He might be the least talented hockey player I have ever seen. I watched a video of trained grizzly bears playing a game of hockey and they showed more poise than Bickel.

Pyatt is still part of the problem (though much smaller then Gabby and Richards), we signed him for depth like you said but he hasn't brought anything to the same really in the last 20 games. A goal an assist, a big hit here and there would be great, but I haven't see any of that from him, he kind of just goes through the motions each shift and doesn't do much.
