Per @tpanotchCSN, the #Flyers have waived Knuble. That explains Zolnierczyk.
It was a fun 18 games Knuble, but time to hang out up.

EDIT: Seems like Ms. Baicker made a mistake.

Thank you. Harry Z brought so much more to the table this year than Knuble. Knuble was basically bringing everyone else down with his place.

Maybe this will also bring up McGinn? Because isn't Harry Z already up?

I am not a big fan of Harry Z. He is horrible on defense and pretty much only brings his skating to the NHL level. I would have rather seen McGinn called over him.

Like I said, I thought that Harry Z already was called up?

For the future, absolutely.

For this year. Let McGinn hone his offensive game in the AHL.

doesnt really make much sense anyway unless you know there is a team with interest in him. his cap hit still counts if he goes unclaimed.
would be lucky to get futures for him anyway.

someone mentioned one of our esteemed beat writers mentioned that we should trade our 3rd rounder for Jagr. A. We cant take on anymore salary as we are already in danger of LTIR overage penalties unless we lose salary for a pick. B. We cant trade that 3rd. its still in play in the Gagne trade.

Yeah but don't we have plenty of room to add anyway? CapGeek says we can add over $7 million AAV as of today. Am I reading this wrong or does that only include by trade? In other words, if they waive him and he isn't claimed they are able to still call someone up, no? Maybe the just want to give a young guy a chance (isn't that what everyone on here cries about all the time?).

They could. Im not a fan of Harry Z. I think he freakin sucks. Call up Wellwood. Even if he is offensively limited he can kill penalties and is good defensively.
Im sure that Flyer management would like to get Mcginn back up here as well.

I'm abusing my mod powers to give this an "lol," as per the parlance of our times.
