Clock made me pie for my birthday yesterday. It wasn't the tastiest pie I've ever tasted (yes, that sounds dirty), but I did go back for seconds and will eat more tonight. I need to get him barefoot in the kitchen more often!

No. Layne passed away. Mike Starr passed away even though he was kicked out of the band in 92/93. Jerry Cantrell (who wrote most of the music and lyrics) and Sean Kinney (drummer) are still around from the original 4. Mike Inez isn't the original bassist but he's been with AiC for 20 years, he is just as important as Mike Starr was.

The new AiC is pretty much the band with William Duvall singing instead of Layne (Duvall is really talented, but no one can be compared to Layne. Layne was the best vocalist of all time) they're releasing a new album and already released a single from it. Enjoy watching them, even without Layne they are still better then 99% of the bands out there today.

But Pi Day was last week...

And I'm pretty sure that if Clock called a pie you made "not the tastiest" he'd be dead. Double standards FTW!

Oh, you are absolutely correct. I know he sometimes chokes down meals I make that aren't good. He's a standup man.

(And for the record - his pie was good. It just wasn't the best I've had. I was still very impressed he made it!)

Was it the first time he's made the item in question? Practice makes perfect and all that.

I don't understand why we have to go through this "OMG It's Spring but it's still cold outside" thing every year. It's been this way since before any of us were born.

Last year on the first day of spring, it was 80 degrees.

I think that day has come about 3 or 4 times already this past winter.

When was the last time Pitt didn't choke in the tourney?

Wichita St though is a pretty good team, it was an 8/9 matchup which is usually a coin flip anyways.

Humble Pie's Steve Marriott (guitar, vocals) died in a house fire. Greg Ridley (bass) died of pneumonia a few years later.

Steve Marriott died in a house fire (his own) as a consequence of falling asleep / cigarette in bed. Marriott rolled his own (which lack chemicals to perpetuate the burn of store-bought cigarettes), but, because he was air flight traveling and out of tobacco, bought a store pack. Later, once home, exhausted from traveling, passed out, and the store bought cigarettes burned his house and him to his unfortunate death.
