Listen, although I do agree he should gain some experience in the AHL and try to win a Calder. I have seen him play and he is ready right now, to step into the NHL. He was drafted in 2008, he is one of our oldest prospects and one that is ready right now.

So for both Dustion Walsh and Daniel Pribyl their seasons are over (unless Pribyl gets sent down to the Czech 2nd league or juniors) wrote alittle about it on Sunday,

http://www.habprospects.com/modules....rticle&sid=198

Will be interesting to see what the Habs do with both, if they sign them or cut them lose.

That should be johnny hockey since he's been the best player in the NCAA imo. I wanted the Habs to draft Leblanc years back, great passer.

That's incorrect, it's August 15th for NCAA draft picks. Same goes for Walsh.

Respectfully disagree on Gaudreau. Imo Kristo would be a lock if not for his off ice issues. BC has the 23rd hardest strength of schedule in NCAA, UND has 5th...huge difference in college hockey. Kristo has been the best player in college hockey. Gaudreau doesn't bring much to a team if he isn't on the scoresheet. Kristo is no selke candidate, but he makes a positive difference in his own end. I could make a few arguments for Knight as well. In the end I think Gaudreau will win, but IMO he doesn't deserve it. It will be like the Miele vs Frattin hobey a couple years ago. Everybody knew Frattin was the better player, but off ice issues prevented him from winning.

Have you ever heard of Martin Ruzicka? He's actually killing the Czech league (40g 43a in 52games) with the Trinec Ocelari HC. He's actually 27. Unfortunately he's a center =(.

There an article about him here

Can we invite him for our Habs camp this summer? Also, if somebody knows his contract length that would be amazing to know.

Any player that can beat a 21 year old playoff scoring record set by Ziggy Palffy should be on a top priority list of things to do ASAP for NHL GM's named Marc Bergevin. This 25 year old is an undrafted free agent, our scouts in Europe should have informed Timmins about him I'm sure. This rising star from the Czech league could look great centering a line with Charles Hudon and Danny Kristo at the Habs pre-season Camp in Sept.

Surprised he hasn't gotten an NHL trial at any point, he's played for the Czechs internationally before too. Strange situation, you'd think he'd at least be in the KHL.

One of the Hobey Baker finalist seems like he could be a good pick up : Eric Hartzell, he's goalie for Quinnipiac U. and he's posted some good numbers every year he was the starter. He also has nice size at 6'4.

Ruzicka did play in the KHL during the 2011-2012 season for Amur Khabarovsk and had totals of 10 - 5 =15 pts. in 33 games then rejoined Trinec for this season his breakout season. His team just won the first two games of the Final and he set up both goals for a 2-0 shutout.

Sioux down 3-2.

UND's goaltending has been so bad this year. I don't see how we win a championship with this kind of goaltending. Ugh.

UND not doing that great of a job on the PP. They are having some opportunities but can't capitalize....Kristo can't do it alone....would need some help. Our own McMillan seems pretty quiet lately...

The question mark was way up there before, around the same time that Danny said how great that team was....Honestly, they did better that I thought they were. But goaltending was, is and will always be an issue till the end...even if they make the frozen four.
