Just posted my P2s for tonight's game on Seat Exchange

Hey all,

Just wanted to give y'all the heads-up that I posted my tix for tonight's game (205-4-5,6) on Seat Exchange a minute ago. They disappear quick on Seat Exchange so I wanted some hard-core Jets fans to get first crack.

Good luck y'all.

m.

14 tickets on SeatExchange for tonight's game. I don't think I've ever seen so many.

Seat exchange is such a joke

"convenience fee"

Convenience of what? Having to pay a bunch of ridiculous fees?

Also it's a category A game during a 6 night, 4 game stand; profit margins around 70% for season ticketholders to sell (depending on location), take a night off, watch it on TV and go to tomorrow's game.

And yes agree, I bought a terrible pair of P7s to Sunday's game, category B, so $56 face. I was charged $186 total. They charged me for P6 (have promised to refund) plus $32 in randomly labeled fees.

Also bandwagon jumpers getting bored of it already? Have money for the tickets, but not the heart commit to the cause?

That happened to me as well for tomorrow's game and they promised to refund the
difference as well. That was back around Jan.20th. I've yet to see the refund despite
confirmation e-mails from True North.

To be fair its also a really compressed schedule this year and things come up from when people had their ticket allocation drafts. Back to Back home games against the same team is bound to get people churning tickets.

I turned down a pair of P2's today. Like many others, a compressed sched, a Spring Break vaca and the kids summer sport registration this month has me backing away for a few weeks, at least until my last 3 games of my shared seasons pop up next month.

I also think some STH's are selling now to help pay for their playoff tickets.

Thank you for the tickets, Brad!

I don't think I've ever been in the lower bowl, so that'll be a new experience.

As a question to people with seasons seats...

If the Leafs vs Jets is the first round matchup, what would you sell game 2 or game 5 for? I'm just trying to gauge how much I should be budgetting. I wouldn't try to buy the first game as that would be insanely expensive I'd assume.

If you could post (or PM) what your seats regularly go for, and what you'd be looking for (I'm not at ALL going to hold you to it, I'm just trying to gauge the market).

My guess is that if the seats are face of $100 and normally sell for $200, they'll be going for about $400. Is that about right?

People will be selling their tickets for at or below face value. It is the law.

I assume you mean on here...
Its unfortunate but people will be exploiting the principles of supply and demand.
i just hope those people lose their seats in the process

Easy enough to "sell them" at face value to a secondary account then scalp them from there. TNSE can't take away your seats for someone you sold your tickets to, scalping them.

I guess my point is, we don't discuss that here. This thread is for selling tickets as a private citizen in a legal manner, nothing more.

When you widen the scope to HF Jets, we don't encourage illegal activity, and if we start talking about how much tickets are on the black/ scalpers market we enter an area that gets hard to moderate.

Of course, we can't stop people from discussing these topics via PM, but it's not for public consumption. Hope that makes sense.

I am going to guess that if your from Toronto and a Leafs fan that no Jets season ticket holder is going to sell you any tickets!
