I know that some posters don't like him, but he is one for my favorite on the team. Every game, he shows up no matter what. Sometimes he is too jacked and takes dumb penalties, but when he is balanced, crushing people and goating the other team into penalties, he is very valuable in the few minutes he plays.

I think his maturity level is getting better. I honestly think a lot of his reputation comes from his junior play, which he has largely grown out of.

I'm liking him much more this year than last. He is getting to be a smarter player.

I love the dude, hands down. My favourite player in the Flyers since Forsberg. If he could, in let's say, the coming 3 years come to a level of scoring 10-15 goals per season i would ****ing love him even more. (I know that isn't very realistic but its a wish of mine!)

A lot of haters are eating crow. Rinaldo has earned everything he's gotten. He played very well for the Phantoms during the lockout and has carried his work ethic over.

I think the Buffalo game made me a fan.

Rinaldo, Voracek, and Simmonds are basically the only bright spots this season. Luke Schenn has been pretty alright too.

It's a shame that Shanahan is apparently happy for players to try and injure him on a nightly basis, but as soon as he retaliates....

Giroux is scoring on a PPG pace, I'd add him on there too.

G has been well below expectations, especially 5v5. Without that 1rst PP unit clicking he and this team would be dead last in the league.

nah, G has been somewhat disappointing. His 5-on-5 play has been bad

Rinaldo was once again one of our better players tonight. It shows on the main board.

He nailed Hedman and Malone..they both left the game..not sure if they came back. Last year he knocked off a couple of players in a game as well. He busts his butt and hits like a freight train yet he is half the size of the people he wrecks ....

I don't like any hit where some guy has his head down and gets nailed.

It honestly made up for the loss tonight. That thread is comedic gold.

Why does he have his head down though..while I agree ....the other players bear responsibility in staying aware (like Lindros' infamous Stevens run-in despite Jonesy yelling at him to keep his head up) although if it's a blindside hit yeah then I agree. I saw the Malone hit..was the Hedman one a blindside?

Indeed. If the rest of the team played with as much energy as Zac maybe we'd be a little higher in the standings.

Yeah I'm sure Crombeen is just dying to get wrecked again. Besides that, they're pretty idiotic for going to the media with any of this. If someone does cheap shot Rinaldo instead of fighting him, the Flyers would have a good amount of evidence to present to the league to suggest it was premeditated.

If the Flyers make the officials aware of their urge to punish Rinaldo/Flyers, they can probably expect to get put on the PK a whole lot in the next game. Going to the media with that is a pretty bad idea.

Edit: Oh, and the Malone hit was deemed clean by the TB org. Not that it will do anything to assuage the raging butthurtyness of TB fans. They've been more emotional than the average Pen fan when it comes to Rinaldo.
