Really? Huh, that's interesting. I know nothing about the kid, but he put up 81 points in 64 games in his draft year and still wasn't selected until the 5th round. Does he just not have the toolbox or something?

I think it was his 2nd year of eligibility.

His draft year he put up only 19 points in 70 games, and supposedly wasn't a good enough skater to offset his size. Detroit invited him to their prospects camp that year but he suffered a broken hand. Saw him play this year, he's a very good skater and dangerous in the offensive zone.. posters around here compare his style to Dan Boyle.

Haha, hope so man. Depends on how Morrison sees him, Dave's big on character and Kichton not signing as an overager is a bit of a concern.

At what point does he become a free agent and not have to re-enter the draft?

Well that's a possible reason why might avoid him. However who knows he might have a good reason or something?

From what I understand;
if he gets picked again in the draft but is unwilling to sign a contract, he wouldn't be able to re-enter a draft for the third time and would have to wait until the drafting team loses his rights.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, not a lot of info about this on the boards.

Hey guys, Habs fan here, I come in peace.

I have Stuart Percy and Matt Finn in my Fantasy league. Can you guys give me a quick report on those guys (who has the better potential, when do you expect them to be in the bigs, etc.)?

Thanks!

Finn's definitely got the higher offensive upside, but neither really project as impact players at the next level.

Both probably have 2nd pairing two-way potential. Personally, I like Finn better, but that's just me.

Both steady and look to go unnoticed for the most part. Great leaders and will have long careers, but their impact will probably be marginal. Nothing dynamic about either one.

Next year Joe Colbourne his ELC is expired. He needs a new contract I think. Is it a one way deal where he requires waivers? Could be a situation if he don't make team right out of camp, have to trade him to get an asset

It doesnt matter if the contract is one way or two way for waivers. That is completely different. One way just means he is garenteed a NHL salary if he plays NHL or AHL. Two way means he is paid less if he is in the AHL.

waivers is based on age/games player.

Mississauga is down 3-0 after 1 with 4 shots on goal. Yea would've been better for Percy to be with the Marlies.
