No problem. It's not called often because really, how many times are players going to be in the crease, before the puck and not end up interferring with the goalie.

His citation this summer may have something to do with that. I'm not surprised by Cznarik, as he is the only CCHA guy.

I could see that, but it's not like Knight and Kristo didn't get in any trouble this summer.

True. Could also be they had 4 WCHA guys and half the finalists won't come from this league.

The gophers had too many nominees and split the vote.

UND only nominated Knight.

Kristo is a finalist also, he had to have been nominated.

Nobodies talking about the 3-3 tilt tonight in St. Paul headed to overtime? Certainly won't hurt the Gophers whoever they face tomorrow night.

Grimaldi should have had a penalty shot in the 3rd.

Hmmm, that one is a good debate. CC dman was same side of Rocco when he reached out to hold him not trailing exactly behind, but sure looked like the kind of action that would result in a penalty shot. Either way, NoDak has been terrible on special teams tonight.

I thought UND had the better of the play tonight for most of the evening. UND lost because of the goaltending tonight though. Neither net minder has been that good for the team this year.

I'll just cheer against the Gophs for the rest of the weekend.

Actually part of the fun of the rivarly is cheering against each other no matter what, I will miss it for a while.

Ranger fan here.

Once the lockout started, I started watching NCAA and more specifically, Minnesota, because of the Rangers 2012 first round pick, Brady Skjei. I didn't watch a single game since the NHL resumed, but I have a question I should have asked a while ago.

Which college in Minnesota would you guys say is the most popular? It really makes no difference to me, but I'm just curious.

If I understand correctly, hockey writers and other coaches can nominate other players, which explains how Kristo is included. But UND only nominated Knight out of their three possible nominations.

Also glad the UND is knocked out of the tournament.

U of M for me for sure. Second would be St. Cloud State, then UMD.

In my opinion, of course

Not even sure what to say about Bemidji.

My mom went to Bemidji and she's a bigger Gopher fan.
