Hopefully he's close, if Murray wants to turn Bishop into a piece for this season (as opposed to "futures" he might get in the offseason / closer to the draft), the window is there right now in Phoenix.
And don't look now but Tampa Bay just lost Lindback for 6-8 weeks with a high ankle sprain. They wanted Bishop before us but we offered a higher 2nd round pick.
Last year Anderson is assaulted by a ravenous dead chicken and misses a chunk of time. This year it's the hideous ankle sprain of mystery . . . either this is some strange coincidence or this guy is injury prone.
Our goaltending has been fine, but I miss Andy. Aside from being amazing, he's also probably one of the most humble Senators that's ever played for us. He'd always credit the teammates and fans over himself. Great to see the good guys like Anderson who were career nobodies emerge as legitimate great players.
