I think we're gonna role 3 scoring lines when we have the players to do it so Noesen being on our 3rd line in the future is actually a good thing because he's got the tools to be a top6 and a bottom6. I still think he as the potential for the second line but having him on the 3rd will speak greatly of our team and its depth.

Damn...I almost want to watch the Owen Sound game tonight instead. Should be some good action and I think the big story will end up being Sproul vs. Ceci (at least for me). It will be interesting to see which guy ends up looking better in the series.

I see Noesen as being an excellent second line player due to his intangibles.

I see a solid, consistent 20-20 guy, with maybe a year or two of 25/30 in his prime. That's still a super valuable player, and one you win with, but a secondary player.
Secondary during the regular season, but those kinds of players become primary players during the playoffs. We need more of them, and an additional top 6 skilled forward, and then we're ready to contend.. IMO.

Lol yea, he'll score like 50 in 82 games then 11 points in 13 playoff games or something like that.

Cool beans. This was a really solid signing. We didn't exactly sign the next Karlsson but he could be serviceable after a couple years in Bingo.

I'm very interested in his teammate Nic Petan at the draft.

I actually made my post as a test to see if anyone would extend the games, good catch.

Have you been in an argument with someone over these two?

Bryce Aneloski - available to sign?

Has Aneloski finished his college career? Do you think the Sens will sign him? What type of a player is he?

Nope. I'm just tracking it myself because they're two of the top defensive prospects in the OHL (if not the top two) and they're playing head to head as probably the two best players for their respective teams so it's just an interesting "storyline" to follow for me.

I believe Aneloski is in the process of completing his junior yr so he would have one more yr left unless he leaves school early which is very possible. Wiercioch & Lee both left school early. He has good size at 6'3", is a right shot & has some offence to his game although I would expect if he signs he will end up in Bingo or more likely Elmira. Bingo will have a lot of defencemen in camp next season with a good number of right shots.

It starts to make me wonder if the Murrays will sign any free agent NCAA defencemen (Sustr) since they will have quite a few defencemen coming to camp next yr. Maybe they will go after a forward or two instead although they could have quite a few of those as well & they just signed a goalie. I would guess if they have the opportunity to sign Sustr they will, as well as any other top NCAA player.

Aneloski is actually a senior: http://www.omavs.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6630

He played his freshman season at Providence College, then transferred and played his last 3 seasons at Nebraska-Omaha. His senior season has ended, so I'm curious to see if the Sens do sign him or not.

That lazy bum Noesen finally gets on the board to put Plymouth up 5-1.

EDIT:

Only a primary on the 6-1 goal.

Now he's got 2 goals and an assist.

Meh.

Puempel's got a goal now too.

Captain Jordan Fransoo with Victoria against Kamloops locked 0-0 past halfway in the 1st period

Chris Driedger and Calgary agaist Swift Current up 1-0 with a few minutes left in the 2nd period

Update: Victoria scores 1-0
Update: Kamloops tie the game at 1-1
Update: Calgary now up 2-0
Update: Clagary up 3-1

Also regarding Matt Puempel, he is dynamite, precisely the type of player this club needs. I see a lot of people decided to crap on him again but very confident once we get him in our system you'll see his usefulness.
