Nash with a questionable high hit. Might get a call from Shanny.

Stupid play by Nash. Maybe just a game, likely nothing, but a very reckless play regardless.

That's an odd hit, he jumped into him, but the jump doesn't really have anything to do with the hit.

I think he'll get a call.

Buffalo now tied with us could jump us if they win in OT. Washington could be tied also with a win tonight. Florida just a point below us now.

Buffalo passes us and if Washington wins, we go down again. We'd be 27th overall.

Maybe I'm being slow but since when do Phoenix play in front of a full house?

Also, Tyson Nash needs to fire his stylist.

It's pretty funny how Canuck fans are defending the stupidity of the play Edler made last night. Edler didn't even try to avoid the contact with the goalie and went right through him. He probably wouldn't have gotten the major if he tries a least somewhat to avoid the contact, but nope right through the goalie he went. Stupid play, and again I am disappointed that Edler didn't get his ass handed to him. One of his players, even if not a fighter, has to go in there and send a message.

edler had know where to go. he was up against the boards already. as a goalie, that call was brutal. mike smith is an embarrassment. guy dives, and flops more than anyone in the league

I didn't see the play so I can't comment but I agree with the second part of your statement. He's a less outspoken Ryan Miller.

I thought the "Is Kadri a bust?" threads on the main board were annoying, but the "Is Kadri a Superstar?" threads are much much worse.

Yeah it's best just to stay out of those threads, especially if you're a Flyers fan. You get the Kadri hater label pretty quick, despite the fact that those threads are nothing more than Leafs fans fellating each other for nailing the Kadri predictions.

Yeah Edler had nowhere to go, but he shouldn't have taken a giant leap into Smith. Plus, he could've made an attempt at playing the puck that was right on Smith's stick.

Smith does like to flop though...

To me it looks like hes trying to avoid Smith by going towards the boards and hopping over his stick. That play is 100 pct Smith's fault IMO. Smith knew a guy was coming with pressure and when he misplayed the puck he acted like a skater to try to protect the puck. Edler had all his momentum going behind the net to try to get to the puck and Smith took all the room behind the net, he put himself in that position it should have been a non call IMO. He does it all the time to draw penalties and then flops all over the place and acts hurt in a corner somewhere until the refs stop the play then attempts to punch guys in the back of the head with his blocker.

His production given his limited ice time is pretty impressive.

I get that. Most Flyers fans in the thread from yesterday said as much and were quite willing to admit that he has outperformed Schenn this year. But in typical obnoxious Leaf fan fashion, it turned into a Kadri > world thread.
