Blues vs Oilers 23/03/2013**Roster move expected

Reports are Belanger is expected to return from the IR--when they activate him they either have to send someone down or put someone on the IR

Blues are 16-11-2 34pts 4-4-2 in the last ten 8-6-1 on the road
Oilers are 11-11-7 29pts 3-4-3 in last ten 5-4-4 at home

other things to think about
Blues 87-83 goals for and against
three goalies on their roster have all played 11 games each
blues are 7th in goals for, 18th in goals against 4th in power play, 14th in penalty killing

Oilers 26th in goals for 18th goals against 5th in power player and 11th when shorthanded

Oilers leaders
gagner 12 goals
HAll 20 assists
gagner 28pts
Fistric is at +4

Blues
Stewart 14goals
Shattenkirk 17assist
Stewart 28pts
Jackman is +9

fun fact or tidbit Stewart and Shuttenkirk were traded with each other from the Avs on February 19, 2011

Edmonton T-3 most SH goals this season I believe. I'm really impressed with that. I swear the past few years we scored like 1-2 per season and they came late.

I can't see a win.

Just can't see us beating the Blues.

Damnit Krueger, now he's saying RNH is doubtful. He said a couple days ago, he'd be playing for sure.

If the Oilers had beat San Jose I would have them winning this. The fans were finally getting into that game and there would've been a lot of momentum going into Saturday. Now, I think there's potential for a big drop-off in intensity.

We should lose this game.

...So we'll probably end up winning it.

Umm, not sure you can blame Kreuger for RNH being sick.

Hopefully we can take advantage of their PK being a little on the weak side.

Will RNH and Hemksy will be back? If not, I doubt we have that great of a chance as the lines just get right screwed up and you could put money on Yakupov being with Belanger.

He should have found a cure for the flu by now.

Worst coach ever.

*puts on tin foil hat*

I know alot of us were speculating that RNH's shoulder was a bigger issue than it was revealed, I wonder if that is causing more trouble than we're being lead to believe.

I know Krueger said he had the flu or whatever, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was just something to keep the injury less serious. Especially if it's something he might have to play through the entire season.

If there ever was a team built to give us trouble, it's the Blues.

You're certainly not the only one thinking along these lines.

For me, when I hear:

RNH has the flu

It's now become:

RNH has the "flu"

Stuffer brought up mono with RNH. He didn't say that's what it is, but brought it up nonetheless.

so why even show up on Wednesday only to leave at 5 to go home and recover?

and what purpose does concealing an injury serve to the Oilers?

If he has mono then shut him down for the year. There are less than 20 games left and it can be a lingering illness.

Back to the topic... not much confidence that the Oilers pull this one out.

St.Louis is as good or better than the Oilers in basically every area.

They play a stifling defensive style that's pretty much the kryptonite for the Oilers young/speedy free wheeling team.

3-1 Blues

My god, why does he throw crap like that out?

I suspect Harti to OKC is what we more than likely see.

Since RNH has flu like symptoms they should just shut him down for the season and get him shoulder surgery.
