Ugh, I just completely forgot it was the beginning of a new week. Have St. Louis and Simmonds benched.

Sorry guys.

offer me **** for my **** re: deadline.

the spot start rule being delayed until next season is hilarious, why not just do it now.

I vote yes, btw, trash the confusing rule.

Three adds a week is entirely too many. Need specific rules for goalies and players.

Everyone: Let's streamline this and make it less confusing!
Ubi: Let's add even more rules and make it even more confusing!

Actually, he's not saying add more rules. There already are specifics for goalies and skaters. He's just saying he wants to keep them.

Hello all,

I am back from my Miami adventure, a little worse for wear, but had an incredible time.

I am making Gaborik and/or Brad Richards available, specifically for goalie help or a young rookie keeper. Let me know if you are interested.

Yes, he is. He already said earlier that we need more rules governing it.

The goalie rule doesnt matter.

If you wanna waste transactions picking up goaltenders like Anton Khudobin, Josh `` MS`` Harding, an injured Jose Theodore, and a variety of other sub par back ups who never play or post terrible numbers when they do...Go right ahread. If that is the strategy you are left with to try and win games I dont think you will win many match ups trying to spot start terrible goalie after terrible goalie.

Ive got anders lindback and mathieu garon and nobody on waivers is better than either of them. Atleast they play.

Any goalie worth anything at all is going to be on a roster and wont go anywhere.

3 add/drops works fantastic in my other leagues.

Sorry, maybe he was before, but the post you quoted would not necessarily have entailed any new rules.

I don't think I'm suggesting making it more complicated at all.

It's probably CRDs fault somehow.

I think you're probably right.

So Ubiq, are you saying to keep the spot start rules and add in 3 adds restriction, regardless of injuries or not? What rules in addition to the 3 add limit do you suggest?

I'm open for business barring a miracle comeback this week. My for sure keepers are:

C - Jonathan Toews
C - Ryan Getzlaf
C, LW - Pavel Datsyuk
RW - Martin St. Louis
D - Nik Kronwall
G - Ryan Miller
R - Jonathan Huberdeau
R - Justin Schultz

So I'll need 1 more keeper which will be one of Kiprusoff, Kunitz, Lupul, or Simmonds.

I'm still wanting/willing to trade Toews/Getzlaf/Datsyuk and Kipper for an upgrade in goal. So PM me with that if you're interested, but as far as rentals, the following players will be made available for picks...Asking price is in brackets:

Chris Kunitz (18G 22A in 31GP...Is playing with Crosby...Will likely be a keeper if I don`t get a high pick) (high pick)

Joffrey Lupul (3G 1A in 5GP...Has been on fire since returning)(medium high pick)

Wayne Simmonds (10G 10A in 27GP with 59PIM...A great option for a guy who can score and put up PIMs) (medium high pick)

Tyler Ennis (8G 13A in 29 games) (mid-low pick)

Alex Tanguay (9G 13A in 27 games) (mid-low pick)

Dennis Wideman (3G 11A in 27 games with 10PPP) (mid pick)

Mark Streit (4G 11A in 29GP) (mid-low pick)

Mike Green (2G 5A in 16GP) (mid pick)

Lots of good rentals. Get a jump on your cup run.

Won`t matter. The rule looks like it`s going to pass pretty easily.

You mean the Anton Khudobin who is 4-1 in his last 5 with a .938 sv % and started 2 straight now over Rask?

I picked up Scrivens earlier this week and he didnt start once. If I picked up Khudobin I would not be in danger of losing wins tonight but would have a 1 win cushion and be forcing my opponent to play for the tie, especially important considering Khudobin is starting over one of his TWO starters. That's just smart roster management and I dropped the ball, but hey, what a wasted pick up right?

Maybe we shouldn't be surprised your team is consistently spinning its wheels.

Finally, league snarkiness that isn't directed at me.

Dammit CRD. I just went to pick up Johnson. Saw him in his game against Carolina last week, and was keeping tabs on him cause he looked damn good. Don't have any centers I wanted to drop though. Finally decided screw it, I'd drop a winger...but apparently I waited too long.

Man, I benched both Bryz and Fleury because the last few Flyers/Pens games have been wild, including both guys getting the hook last time. Really the only stat I could win was shutouts and then I would get the tie in wins. Figured it wasnt worth it to potentially lose GAA and SV% but it looks like I would have been fine. Damn.

I just meant that if someone is relying on a revolving door of backups you wont have any long term success, you can cherry pick an example like khudobin having a good week (he got pulled last night) but if your playing that game week in and week out using your moves trying to strike gold with goalies, its not gonna work out.

Uh, he's not really cherry picking the example when you're the one who named khudobin. Just sayin, lol.

Also, Perry gets a misconduct with 34 seconds left to secure PIMs for me.
