I normally care less about GDT's but I was hoping today's would be all about perry, and it is!!!'

Great job... Can't wait to see him in warmups let alone the game.

RPG together again too?? Someone from the org is obviously reading my posts in here

To be clear, the last Wings GDT was KelVarnsen's, not mine. I'm just rabblerousing on his/her behalf.

Id like etem up higher... but theres something about seeing the cogs line jump over with a speedster, then the 4th line with a lot of energy and speed... that makes me happy l.

Frankly, bb rolls his lines well, so etem should still see a good number of shifts.

Idk if they showed the highlights of the dux in tux event on fox sports for u guys during the 2nd intermission last game but they did at the game.

Ken French took a camera crew around to a few players and started asking if they've seen perry.. All the responses were the same around the ball park of "ohh he's obviously hiding somewhere"
Except for Teemu's answer:
"Oh god he's hiding for sure, he's probably under a table" hahaha under a table!!! Teemu started laughing so loud it was great...

Ohh they found Corey in the back of the kitchen with the rest of the hired help making pasta.... Pretty much the most awkward thing I've ever seen

It's must see tv

This is true and I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended during my last utterly distasteful bandwagon themed GDT.

Where the heck is Lovejoy? I'd prefer him over Allen any old day.

Lovejoy is in the press box where he should be - he's 7th on the depth chart. And I am the only one that thinks Allen has been good since coming back from the flu?

We're looking at a rookie, and a team with depth top to bottom.

Getz and Perry fourth lined with Fedoruk for an entire year didn't they? Seems like they developed fine.

There is just NO WAY Palmieri is born in 1991. Looks like he could be in his early 30s.

Is the "under the table" also an american expression/proverb? Because in finnish "under the table" pretty much means that someone drank too much/lost a drinking game.

There are a couple meanings the expression can take on depending on how and when it is used. However, usually it means:

1. (Like you stated) Someone drank too much/lost a drinking game.

2. When something is done illegally or done against an established rule.

I have developed such a major crush for our PK that I'm starting to look forward to us going to the box. Etem and Cogs, please get a shorty, tonight.

Not a fan of Allen. No puck skills, no shot, terrible defensive awareness, does not block as many shots as advertised, no hitting, terrible fighter, gets beat constantly, even on the boards, never uses his size.

Feel bad for whoever his d partner is every night.

I don't know what games you've been watching but I've noticed a number of hits, he's tied for 3rd on the team in blocked shots and his defensive awareness has been fine. I've also seen him deliver many nasty cross checks in front of the net. As for fighting - he wasn't signed to be the team enforcer.

I don't know what anyone expecting out of him but in Carolina he was never more than a #4-5 guy. He was somewhat misused the first dozen games when he was playing top pairing minutes with Fowler but in the third pairing role he's playing at the moment he's been more than adequate. The last half dozen games he's played I've thought have been his best as a Duck. I get that people are still judging him based on first impressions but he's been absolutely fine lately.

I get that Lovejoy has more natural skills that show up to the naked eye but he's one of the many tools no tool box type of players who are limited severely by their complete lack of hockey IQ. It's why he's been a #6-7 player his whole career.
