I thought he was awesome in the Rangers game too. Not only did he score, he was also great on the backcheck and created many turnovers.

I bet it was. There are just some days that I am very thankful that chance made me a Devils fan. I'm sure you had one of those yesterday.

Marty was amazing last night...didn't get to see the game but from the highlights I saw...wow.... that 5 save sequence in the 1st before we scored our first....vintage Brodeur.

I think Zajac might actually skate with the puck better than any Devil. Kovalchuk is obviously more skilled, and he used to be faster, but Trav just knows how to keep possession some how. It helps that when he's pressured by D, he knows how to take the puck to the boards and keep control. He's been our best forward at gaining the zone for the past few weeks or so. Only a matter of time before that started to turn into offense.

That was basically Marty's whole game. He was awesome(and they hit 2 posts) for about 10 minutes and then the Devils mostly locked down Carolina for the rest of the game.

He looked beastly in that game too. Travis might have finally awoke and what a great time for him to as well.

Third goal last night was all Zajac just beasting around.

Marty has the 7th best even strength save percentage in the league of goaltenders who have played more than 5 games. 934 at even strength. Only Anderson, Lehner, Crawford, Hiller, Bobrovsky, and Ellis are in front of him.

Goes without saying Marty has been very solid for us this year and we have been going to the box to much when he was playing earlier.

Travmanian Devils is an awesomely terrible nickname that I hope nhl.com never uses.

Not just him, but it looks like a bunch of guys on the team are slowing getting their swagger back. A lot of that has to do with line combinations really starting to click and play confidently as a unit.

Figures as soon as Pete put some nice line combos together, another forward gets dropped into the mix, though

Remember our PK was struggling even before he got out, but it's been a bit better now. Moose's even strength was a 903. He was one of the worst except for guys like Clemmensen and Brian Elliott. Funny that Brian Elliott broke a save percentage record last year, but now he's dead last in save percentage, and second last in GAA in front of Clemmensen.
