Jeeze you guys are paranoid. Jones was just out sick for a couple games, why is it so hard to believe RNH doesn't just have the flu as well?

I say we make a pre-emptive move and just re-build everything now and beat the injuries to the punch!

Turn him into the bionic man!

I'm going to the game...and I don't plan on leaving with much of a voice. I pity my poor husband...he won't have the best hearing when we leave.

Smyth to the rescue. Krueger is sewing the big red S on his jersey now.

Just to be safe he should have reconstructive knee surgery too.

Yeah. They should also buff up his wrists while they're at it. Perhaps a frontal lobotomy wouldn't hurt neither.

Heck, just throw him in a plastic bubble and call it a day.

Every oiler should go through the deus ex experiment to prevent injuries.

Wasn't sure where to put this so i'll just leave it here.
Many oilers went to several hospitals across Edmonton today, as they do every year. Its an absolutly great thing and i love that they do it brings smiles to peoples faces.
You can see a couple videos of them at edmontonoilers.com
I just wanted to post this one because it brought a smile to my face,

Edit: it doesn't seem to be working anyway here is a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oDNP...YCtc0Q&index=1
Also i believe the guy in the black shirt is a reporter for edmontonoilers.com i might be way off though.

Edit again: as it turns out the guy in black is Team Services Manager Patrick Garland lol

I've got the GDT for tonight pretty much done.

Anyone know where I could find the predicted Blues roster? Haven't found anything yet. And with Nuge out any ideas ours will look like?

This thread from the trade board has lineups not sure how accurate they are but I think they're pretty close

Thanks, I will use those for the Blues. Someone said Gregor confirmed Nuge was out. I am probably just going to leave him in for now.

Shawn Horcoff
Ryan Smyth
Sam Gagner
Lennart Petrell

If before the season began, someone said that's what the centre lineup on the roster would look like with 20 games to go in the season... I think most of us would have never watched any games this year.

Would like to see Harti & VandeVelde (sic?) both in the lineup tonight. We'll need the bigger bodies against the Blues. Bellanger might win a few draws but VV will return the big bodychecks that will be thrown all night. Hopefully the Oilers speed will force St Louis into taking a few penalties.

considering how crappy the oilers have played against lesser teams, and how they ALWAYS fall apart in the 3rd period, I also can't see them winning.
even if they get the lead or are tied, they will crumble and choke.

Not bad but certainly much better this year. Did anyone notice the monster year the Devils had last year shorthanded. Scored 15 SHG while only allowing 27 PPGA. That's ridiculous.
