Texas wins 2-1 after a turn over filled third by both teams. Bachman turned it up just enough to stop the Amerks.

8 point lead now on Charlotte, with games played level, for first in the division. 18 points up on OKC, who sits in 9th.

And they're a point up on Syracuse with games level for first in the entire league, thought Providence can tie them with their game in hand (but Texas also has 2 more ROG wins than them).

Texas plays Charlotte tomorrow and they always play them fairly well at home. I have feeling it'll got to a shootout again. Always seems to when the Checkers are in town.

Also, the Texas Military jerseys are pretty snazzy though once again it's hard to read their numbers from far away :/

For instance..it was Wrenn's shot that Gaz tipped in, not Sneep.

EDIT: Also Chiasson made it back in time to play, seemed a little shakey though.
Got a chance to sit on the bench during warmups. That was awesome.

Owen Newkirk said he thought he was injured, but 100 Degree Hockey didn't list him as injured in today's game preview.

Oh yeah ... and Commodore hasn't played since January 21st so he's going to practice with the team a bit before playing.

I'm not 100% sure on Wandell but wouldn't surprise me if he as a healthy scratch. No one near me indicated if he got hurt in the game before last.

Looks like Boychuck cleared waivers. I see him here warming up.

Owen Newkirk just confirmed Wandell is injured.

Oleksiak is starting with William Wrenn.

Wrenn and Dowling need ELC's.

Seems Wandell blocked a shot Tuesday.

Agreed on the ELCs. Wren has what seems like a quiet but good season

Puck trickles through Campbells pads and Fortunous saves the day by getting it before it goes in. We're not allowed to make fun of Maxime tonight now.

Dear lord Dallas sign Dowling now. Out dekes three guys and is robbed by the goalie's glove.

End of the first. 1-0 Texas

Nash gets one short side while the defense just stands there.

A toe drag and then shot in front Campbell by Boychuck scores.

3-1 Cha.

Texas playing with out much energy it seems. Checkers goalie also playing really well for a short guy.

Campbell has not looked good this game either. I think Glennie got benched for the first 10 minutes as well of the 3rd, but I don't know why.

I can't pick out a single player that has looked good.

A rare mistake by Madore to note completely cover the puck and Vause pokes it in.

4-2 Cha. Only a minute left though.

Vause has looked good. Dowling had flashes but yeah this was a team effort to fail.
