Looks like it's true. I think he might be finished but I loved Halpern the first time around so no complaints here.

I'm sure you guys know what you're getting with him. He won't add much of anything offensively but is still a fine, speedy defensive player who's great on faceoffs and a good PK guy.

Congrats to Jeff and the Habs. Don't like the way he was treated by our organization and I'll be pulling for him.

He had a great run here. He can still probably play a few games on Eller's wing until some more injuries come back.

Zero problems with this. I loved the guy the first time around. Will be a big help to our PK.

I'm not sure where he fits into the lineup (White out or on the wing?), but I have no problem with this move. Hopefully he can help our mediocre penalty kill and win some key face-offs for us.

Great pick up, 56% on faceoffs, a right hand shot, and good on the pk which we need serious help on. White just wasn't good enough at centre, this now also him to move to RW and him and Armstrong can spilt time there when everyone is healthy.

But the Habs need a goon. Sorry, someone had to say it.

Great pickup, solid vet for the bottom 6.

Right handed experienced center that can win faceoffs, could be useful in the playoffs.

As a 4th liner, I'm good with this. We know what we're getting with him. Solid defensive player who is good at faceoffs and can play the PK.

Last I heard White is injured, and even when he's back, Halpern is a step up at center, not to mention better than Blunden.

Good pick up. Great on faceoffs and he'll definitely help on the PK, and we need help there. Love it.

It seems like MB really likes sticking with people who have had experience in MTL, or is it a coincidence?

What was the contract?

Since its Halpern, one would hope that he is paying the Canadiens instead of the other way around.
