White will find a spot as long as he justifies his spot when he comes back. It probably wont be at centre though. It will be nice to have additional faceoff options when a player gets kicked out of the circle.

As much as we want to believe that all the forwards will be healthy at some point, this is rarely the case, so when he's healthy, I suspect he'll find his way back in.

Love to hear that we got Jeff back and for nothing. He can help with faceoffs and it's a low risk addition.

Free better PK.
Free better faceoffs.
Free better than Blunden or White.

No risk at all.

Smart move.

Halpern fills two big holes.....Faceoffs and PK and bring s more veteran leadership...

I like the move....Just don't like seeing Armstrong on the Third line!

Yet another great contribution to a thread

Back on the subject people, I don't mind him getting claimed by Montreal. He gives an interesting depth option is case of injury, can win a crapload of faceoffs and the Rangers fans are generally not happy to see him go, as they found him effective on a 4th line.

I'm still not THAT enthousiastic about him getting claimed, as the thing we need the most on our 4th line, IMO, still is a rugged winger who can make life miserable for the other team. Don't even bother thinking it's just about fighting. It's about hitting and forechecking too. Something Moen and White are less and less effective to do as the year goes by.

He would make one, maybe two good plays a game that everyone would focus on instead of all of the mediocre plays he'd make otherwise.

It's almost Ryan O'Byrne syndrome again.
