Also, new definition for beanball.

StubHub automatically refunded us which was a nice load off our shoulders. We were on the road and listening to the radio feed. They started the game and tried to play through a few rain delays before ultimately calling it.

USA/Mexico was a pretty decent atmosphere; Conservative estimate that 60% of the crowd was pro-Mexico. Game drew a near sellout with 44,000+. Nearly fell asleep during the Rockets/Suns game on Saturday.

Recently took over a fantasy baseball team and have some tough keeper decisions. I can keep up to seven players (or as few as four) and it's a 5x5 matchup twelve-team league.

C - V. Martinez, Perez
1B - Fielder, Butler, Goldschmidt
2B - A. Hill, Kipnis
3B - Sandoval, Frazier
SS - Cabrera
OF - Holliday (the only OF I have really worth mentioning)
SP - Kershaw, Scherzer, Sale, Latos, A. Sanchez, Garza
RP - Kimbrel (need to have at least two but I 'only' have Kimbrel)

The bolds are pretty much my definites. I pretty much figure I'll use two of my other three spots on SP's since they're my strength but not sure which ones, and maybe the other spot on a 2B but again not sure which one cause they both have different skill sets and Hill's a bit inconsistent. Then again I'm not too experienced with fantasy baseball so my strategy could be off

Kimbrel blows it. with this joke lineup they'll lie down and die against Rodney in the 9th

No serious baseball tournament can be decided in one game playoffs.
That said, PR vs Japan will be an awesome matchup.

Looks like there is a possibility Jeter could be placed on the DL as he had inflamation in his ankle yesterday and has been scratched the past 2 days

Can't make this **** up

So 9 of your most used 11 guys last year are gone or on the DL? What the hell did you guys do to piss off your medical staff?

That's just extraordinarily bad luck. Put the rest of them in bubble wrap until the season starts.

You guys can always jump on Jays bandwagon. You'll already be familiar with Cano once he signs with us at the end of his contract.

Are we that desperate for pitching? I guess it can't hurt. I still can't believe he derailed his career by getting injured running the bases, of all things.

Well Hughes may be placed on the DL now for the purpose that he hasn't gotten enough work in and Girardi wants him to get some starts in before next week

Yankees and Angels dotting I's and crossing T's at this point. Vernon Wells has let team know he will accept deal. It will be official soon.

Isn't Wells pretty washed up? This smells of desperation, to say nothing of the return.

I like Wells as a person and don't blame him for signing that ridiculous contract JP Riccardi gave him. Glad AA managed to trade him away. I hope the YES guys are ready to hit the censor button when he hits an infield fly.

Although he is having a solid Spring so far. Could be a good deal for the Yankees if LA pays a good chunk of his salary.
