We just look impotent when actually attacking. We lack that dynamic movement. The cycle and shot from the point is a good tool to have, but relied upon it becomes easy to defend.

Lesson #1 of the day: Irwin cannot compensate for Boyle having a bad day. I think the coaches need to understand this and compensate: Vlasic-Boyle, Irwin-Stuart, Murray-Demers.

McLellan is comprising Boyle's ability to play him game by putting him with a defensive liability like Irwin. Why take the league's best offensive d man and force him to play in a defense first role? Pure idiocy.
