Kings have Bruin-like immunity with the refs.

He was ok with Booth/Kassian, but nothing special. The line was noticeably better when they replaced Lapierre and Schroeder with Higgins.

I'm actually a little surprised they called the offside with the way this game's been going.

Just looks like the playoffs to me, Canucks should learn to win these type of games.

this was my post only a couple before your comment

I was responding to the claim that they haven't looked good before this season, when I said that they were creating lots of chances.

You know Sestito could be used like Bufylien on the powerplay. Sestito is big he can cause trouble infront of the net.

PP 1: Sedin-Sestito(net)-Sedin-Burrows-Garrison

Shneider shouldn't be allowed behind the net. Make it a rule or something.

I'm pretty sure the Canucks have learned how to win these types of games.

there is more to being in front of the net than just being big, see the Bruins putting Chara there. He has to know how to screen effectively, and has to have good hands in close.

Just guessing that if the Canucks played like LA, slashing and interfering, they'd get called for it. I've seen it in way too many games to say that it doesn't happen.

Yeah I saw that. I'm hesitant to say 'great coaching move' only because he should have got a better opportunity with Booth/Kassian over Lapierre and not just tossed down to the fourth line. But I generally agree with what you're saying.

Garrison is a defensive defense man, not a sniper. Plus he's on pace for 12 goals

That period is exactly why it's no longer prudent to build a team that strategically uses the PP as its most effective weapon.

I'm pretty sick of Garrison being by far our best defenseman, yet people are only focusing on his shot
