I should of said that it is looking like a great move so far, of course it is still early

He is a good player all around and he can get shots through but he is trying to hard for the corners. He needs to adjust by and inch or 2.

This team went to game 7 of the finals, dude. Yeah, obviously they didn't win it all, but they've proven that they can beat teams that interfere/utilize stifling defensive systems (i.e. Nashville). And this team has probably learned a thing or two about winning in the playoffs...I hope.

What is this, a shooting robot or something? "Adjust by an inch or 2?"

agreed, and I am confident that will improve in time, although he is on a great pace right now for goals

I don't think you understand that some shots are deliberately put wide for a tip because there is somebody in the lane.

Is that not what we pay Garrison big bucks for?

Am I wrong in thinking that he's just trying to hard ? He doesn't miss by much but its never a post, its just over the net.

Didn't Chicago try that strategy with John Scott? I don't remember that working out very well.

Then why are you complaining about him missing the net? If he's a good player.

Not that it means anything but the Canucks have done better against the teams that have given them problems in the past (kings, blues, preds) so far this season.

I agree. I would love to see his shot go in more often and see some powerplay goals but I think he needs to move in closer to the net. Anyways he has been good defensively for this team and that is important as well.

Yup, I've noticed this too. This has been the first time with this core that we've had to face adversity and fight out of it.

Just have a weird feeling about this season. Not sure if that is good, or bad.

It wasn't a horrible period, but Kings are having their way with our 3rd line right now and we haven't had much zone time in their end. I'm pretty worried about the 2nd period.

Remind me of all the 1 goal games in the finals that the Canucks didn't win?

Regarding Garrison, I think it's the entire powerplay playing possum. Get teams so used to him missing the net that they ignore him, so he can start shooting accurately when playoffs come around.

But Garrison's been fine. Decent bit of offence (as much as could be expected leaving the cushy job as Campbell's trigger man) and playing solid defence.

I think being a 6th or 7th seed is the best thing for this team.

They need to work for everything and get handed nothing.
