Rangers fans on Bickel:

Probably still more useful than Weber though.

That or you have massive insecurity issues in life that you compensate for through advocating for toughness

When was the last time you saw Chara pick a fight with a cat?

That's what I thought.

Not this year but it's only his 2nd season. Really surprised nobody would trade for him.

Bergy should claim him & play him as 4th line RW.

Edit: it would appear based on the Rangers board he is a touch awful. Still would claim him for 4th line though

Kassian destroyed Crombeen today and the Sens are just having their way with TB. Kassian also had a goal in 4 games with the Sens. Halpern has one assist in 30 for the Rangers. I would have taken Kassian

Is it really that hard to understand that Halpern and Kassian do not play in the same situations? if you put Kassian into the situations that Halpern plays in, he would be a complete liability.

Ya Kassian would even have more goals due to the increased ice time. Watching the game today Kassian looks like exactly what the Habs need.

Yeah I'm sure putting Kassian against tougher opposition with mainly defensive zone starts would only increase his goal tally

You might as well be comparing Halpern to Budaj.

One guy sticks up for teammates and keeps opponents honest, but you limit his minutes if you need more offense or have to protect a late lead.

The other you put out to kill penalties and protect a l- oh my god why am I explaining this?

Why does this need explaining?

ok internet I'm done.

Ottawa is crushing Tampa because Ottawa believes in their coach. Tampa has pretty much tuned out Boucher and are playing with zero confidence. That includes playing soft as butter and just waiting for buzzers (and buzzards).

Kassian can't shutdown top opposition, make the PK better, or improve our FOs. Halpern can, and it makes our team better.

What Kassian can do is skate around a bit, and beat someone that tries to hurt us. Some like to argue that this can help our team as well. Personally I think it barely changes a thing. However, nothing prevents MB from getting a guy like this if need be. It doesn't mean that what Halpern brings won't help us. It will.

Kassian just has to fight once more and he will equal "pacifist" Travis Moen for NHL fights this season.

In fact Kassian and Moen fought the same guy.

True Enforcers - we don't really have any - Prust will back you though and PK can send a message - Tinordi has got the tools to be a Lucic Crusher but is that really the HABS game plan anyways
