I really like Brodie, Bouwmeester, Backlund, and Hudler moving forward

I assume we will never trade Glencross unless he wants to make the playoffs during a contract year then re-sign in Calgary/Edmonton 2 months later

other guys I would like to keep but not a much of a loss either are Jones and Wideman

Everyone else good luck with your new teams!

And if they're the most active by becoming buyers I'd feel horrible for Flames fans.

Chicago is pretty close to the max cap, does that mean that big salary is coming back calgary's way to make this move possible?

Jay Feaster has to be the dumbest GM in history if he does that.

I think so too but I won't really believe it until I see it. This was a team just a few weeks ago willing to give up a potential (pretty much certain at this point) top-5 pick for Ryan O'Rielly.

I dont see anyone touching Calamari at 6m cap hit with a year left to his contract, mostly wishful thinkin by flame fans on that one.

I assumed that by "most active" they meant that the Flames would be desperately trying to trade prospects to add the pieces they need to put themselves back into win-now mode, like they do most years.

If this is the case I have no faith in Feaster doing what's best for the Flames. I would put more faith in a 2 year old then Feaster/King.

I'll be cheering for whichever team gets Iginla should he be traded.

I'm still waiting for the trade that will send Dallas our 1st pick for Derek Roy. Any day now it's going to happen and Feaster will announce that the Flames are going for it!! I have zero faith in him.

If they do that, you'll see me on the 6:00 news. Me and a BUNCH of other people, I'm sure.

Why would the hawks be interested in making any moves ? Just go with what you have

Cause the Hawks aren't perfect and adding talent to make team better shouldn't be ruled out
