I thought the Fisher call was good, Pete and Terry are being a bit biased, even said they weren't sure Fisher even touched him...

the Clune call on the other hand, wth is up with that? Maybe 2 minutes for interference but not a 5 minute major. Very inconsistent.

fisher call may have been right but they let the umberger call go which just so happened to be a goal scoring play.

Even with a 5 minute PP and 2 minutes of 5 on 3 against Nashville, still shots are 12-4

I like seeing SK shoot the puck more the last few games.

What did the Clb feed show on the Umberger goalie interference? The Jackets thread has posters wondering why there was even a review in the first place. Our feed showed obvious goalie interference.

If the BJ's have any confidence left, they are truly men... or truly stupid.

go up 4-1 halfway through the period, give them a 5 minute power play with a little 5-on-3 throw in... and give up NOTHING. It's one of the most entertaining periods in a long, long time.

I think the puck was in or on it's way in before Umberger came into contact with Rinne. He obviously got into the goalie, but to me it looked like it was after the fact. It was close enough that it could have been called either way, but I knew as soon as they replayed it that it was a good goal.

Now that i think about it, the Clune call was probably right. It was definitely interference. Since the check drew blood to Anisimov's face, it gets upgraded to a major. Then a major penalty of interference comes with an automatic game misconduct. There is no provision for a double minor on interference.

Great 1st period. Had about everything. That PK against the 5 on 3 and the 5 min major was great. Clune with a dumb penalty and you can't blame Fisher on the effort trying shorthanded even though it ended up as a penalty. This is preds we have been waiting for all year.

We should have called Beck up a long time ago. He's been great. The puck is finally going into the net for us

Taylor Beck at intermission was asked what he'll do with the puck "I think Leggy got it for me, probably going to my parents."

But the point is, i've noticed several times over the years that Legwand was the one to retrieve a first goal puck for teammates. He obviously keeps up with that stuff, and it proves that whether he has a letter or not, he's been one of the leaders in the locker room for a long time.

Pete Weber is Shea Weber's awesome dad. I won't be convinced otherwise.

its legwand we are talking about. It doesnt matter if he wears a letter, or has a good game, he is always a genuine teammate and does the little things. Though they mainly go unnoticed.

If the Umbarger contact was ok, then there is no way in hell that Fisher's was interference. Inconsistency from the zebras is the only constant in the league.
