Getting Blunden off the ice. Face-offs. Having Dumont play with Eller and Chuckie instead of the black hole of Armstrong.

Shooting was not the problem tonight, we outshot them 2-1. Miller was dominant.

I wonder how many teams have Pittsburgh and Boston on the road on back-to-back nights this season. My guess is zero. Ridiculous.

This place will be in full meltdown mode if we lose both, which is entirely possible.

My apologies again for laughing.

If you count skating around the goalie, Eller had a solid game. He was brutal with his passing tonight as well as his puck possession.

Not sure what game you watched. DD's line had 12 shots on goal. Eller's line had 7 shots on goal.

But anyway, gotta find someone to blame it on, right?

Right. Right now, only BGally can really play that type of game. It's time MaxPac learn or is willing to play that style when the game is tightly played. That's one aspect I'm disappointed about that guy.

You have cries to blow up the team after every loss, at this point you can only laugh.

It's hilarious that you of all posters would suggest scoring is the only criterion for evaluating a player.

They have prooved me wrong so far. But we cant compare to Boston and Pittsburgh. We dont have world class talent like they have. We were 15th overall in the conference last season for a reason.

Tough loss, but it's not the end of the world. Boston lost too, so we still have the division lead ATM. We deserved a better fate than that, but hockey is a funny game sometimes.

The puck hit the boards. The call was anything but legit.

I agree. Teams are figuring out our PP. The Sabres had pressure on PK the whole 2 mins because they know that's where the shot is coming from. Galchenyuk wouldn't hurt the PP and might give it some life.

What????

Keep up with what's going on here.

The consensus is that Prust should be on the 4th line now. The place of the 6 minute TOI.

Here's hoping we get a couple of big wins against the Pens and Bruins to level out this luckless Saturday night!

But we aren't 2nd right now for a reason? Interesting double standard.

I can barely remember a situation where we won a faceoff. Especially Desharnais. Hopefully Halpern could help us there, because we are atrocious in the circle.

I still think the refs screwed us and killed our momentum tonight. Two horrible missed calls in the first, and then calling the non-delay of game penalty that pretty much handed the Sabres a goal. Buffalo shouldn't have been in this game. Frustrating loss, hopefully we bounce back. Hate the Sabres and their lucky wins.
