Agreed. He and Samsonov picked Detroit apart (and particularly Legace's sanity) in the first round. I doubt we beat Detroit in '06 without Hemsky; he was magic that particular round.

There have been many points in the season where it has looked this way, but I think this is the nail in the coffin on the season. There is just no way this team can climb out of the hole they're in with this type of play. I didn't even watch most of this game but I just know it wasn't a pretty performance.
