Good news for us is that it seems like Zajac is back to the old Zajac

After seeing the replay

So many things could of happened to his shoulder. None that are good.

am i the only one that doesn't think this is that serious? doesn't appear to be a collarbone. and if he dislocated his shoulder it'll be something he can play through.

Going into the boards that hard can hurt a lot and not be a broken bone. Not sure why everyone assumes he is done for the season.

Having finally seen the replay I tend to agree with these opinions. Not that I think he's not hurt, but its at least not quite as bad as I thought. That said if he was out for an extended period that wouldn't surprise me either.

Robak needs to be suspended for a long time.

That fall was nasty, now that i see the replay.

I was at the game tonight, lower right of the camera pan side near there, and I saw him flick that pass but i missed his actual thud into the boards because i was following the puck. Once everyone realized he was writing in pain on the ice, the section went silent.

Given that he skated real fast off the ice, (once he stopped rolling in pain), its gotta be fairly serious because he b-lined to the tunnel. Lost focus on the game after seeing him skate off like that.

There is one replay in that video where it seeeeems a little better than the initial camera view.

With the cross-check didn't even know who was on the ice for the longest time, but the guy got slammed.

Place was buzzing in the 2nd, good to win, but weary about the Kovy situation.

there are sooooo many things that can go wrong in the shoulder. any minor tear/tweak can essentially debilitate you. i hope its just a bad bone bruise or something bc if he tore something he is DONE.

The Kovy injury really worries me it looks almost the exact same thing as when Josefson broke his clavicle

I'm actually impressed the crowd was into it as much as they were at the finish when Marty got 666, I was already beaten down by the Kovy injury and the whole five-minute major of doom.

I was going to post this too. Looked like a classic dislocation based on how he was favoring it and how he couldnt move it. I have broken my collar bone and dislocated a shoulder, and would defnitly say its dislocated. Still hurts like hell, way less heal time.

Will have to wait and see. Also, just because thats the same way that Josefson hit the boards does not mean its going to be the same injury at all.

He looked pretty good going back to the locker room. Lets not put him on the injury list yet please.

Kovy is a hard mother****er, lets not forget he played through excruciating back pain for 2 months in the playoffs.

As long as there's no structural damage I think we'll see him again before the end of the season. Kovy is a freakish athlete and takes ridiculous care of himself, pain doesn't matter to him.

Yes, he was likely the victim of a satanic curse.

after the replay he hit harder than i originally thought...i still don't think it's a collar bone. he wasn't favoring one side or the other and didn't have an arm hanging at his side. particularly the one that hit the boards so those are all good signs on that front. the fact he didn't return is a bit of a worry but i'm hoping it's just the team being cautious and waiting for x rays to come back. honestly i think a dose of no kovy for a while could be what this team needs. they all force the play to him whether it's on PP or 5v5 and getting back to the roots of devils hockey is what they really need. front of the jersey not the back, defense defense defense, timely scoring=2 pts

When do you think we will hear anything about Kovy? Or is this Marty 2.0 this month?
