Looks good in the standings, since the losses don't allow those teams to pass the Pens with their games in hand anymore. Obviously, the Pens have to keep winning, though.

Great ****ing night. Bruins and Habs lost. My Leafs homer BFF is on the phone with his Leafs homer mom climbing the walls. I'm getting drunk. Life is good.

The media here can be really absurd. As a sport fan, I love the 24/7 coverage, but the expectations put on guys that are drafted high is ridiculous. Doesn't matter if they go #1, #20 or #120, they all need time to develop.

Speaking of expectations, if Lucic doesn't make a 180, the media is definitely going to be on him and his $6mil hit next season. Not even one shot tonight.

Kovalchuk hurt his shoulder tonight. Will be reevaluated tomorrow, but supposedly will miss a short time according to DeBoer.

Lots of teams in the East suddenly back in the playoff picture. Sabres, Capitals? Looked left for dead 2 weeks ago. A lot can happen fast, especially in a 48 game season.

He pops his suit collar every time. It's a major Dbag move.

Also Stamkos -3 in a 5-3 loss. -7 on the year.

I don't want to ever hear anyone say he's close to what Crosby is. Guy doesn't play any sort of defensive hockey at all.

I've gotta admit, that's the first time I've seen him do it.

I concur. That's Cantona stuff and no one else should try and pull it off!

With that scar on the right side of his mouth, he looks like a ventriloquist's dummy.

Maybe Yzerman should coach a few games so he can see what Boucher had to work with.

The Horseless Hedman is a leader and therefore blames himself and will for the rest of the season seek retribution. I hope we don't have any further games against him. Swedish thuggery is no good.

The more injuries the Lightning have received, the more Stamkos seems to disappear. I have nothing against Stamkos, but that seems rather gutless.

I really hope the Lightning Organisation doesn't try to force Stamkos to play defense in the future, or we might look at Ovechkin 2.0.

Since Stamko's first 10 games or so he's really quietened down as a player this season.

Why are there no games scheduled on a sunday afternoon except for Florida against the Islanders? Anything big going on in US Sports today?

Anyone have a video of that kid pushing the other kid on the ice to score a goal? It was shown last night in Don Cherry's run down in between periods. It was ****ing amazing.

Caps up 2-0 on Rangers early, Ovechkin on the board with one of them.
