If Bylsma has any coaching ability at all his pre-game speach is the following:

Stay calm. Don't retaliate. Don't initiate anything after the whistle. Skate away from the scrum. Score 5 more goals than they do because their defense is horrible, their system is garbage and their goalie is a lunatic.

It sounds simple doesn't it?

Pens are ready to make a statement in this game. And I hate them even more because of it.

Just win this one. Tank the rest. I'm buying 20 lbs of seafood and beers. One way or another, I'm enjoying myself watching this game.

That's not even how they originally beat them. It was straight up before they started losing their minds. Which is what led to them losing their minds.

Tonight they're drinking the final drops from the last chance saloon. Try and get a shock win and then go on a tear and win 4 or 5 in a row (which they should have done after the last win against the Pens). Extremely unlikely, but as I've said before, I need to try and motivate myself to stay up till 3AM to watch this team.

That's how they won the last game. That was two different games. They got all stupid and Neal acted like a stooge and they got down 4-1. Then they played with composure and discipline and came back to win.

If Washington wins in regulation today, there isn't much more the Flyers could have asked for with 5 days off and 5 points back. They would step foot on the ice remaining 5 points back.

Sounds all well and good, but the Flyers have THE RINALDO.

Anyone else here have FiOS in the Philly area? My guide says the game tonight is Rangers/Capitals. Hopefully that's not true.

With Kennedy in tonight, it's guaranteed the Pens will score at least one goal. 3 of his 4 goals this season are against us. One goal per game (that's not an average).

I feel like that estimate probably involves losing streaks by other teams as well.

Yea Im guessing he is taking into consideration a few times above us starting to really struggle.

Also this is assuming the team can play better than .500 hockey... which 30 games in they showed they cant so far.
