Only 3? That's being nice. Are you sure you factored in the obligatory Hank whiffing on a Carlson shot from 100 feet out?

Yeah that sounds about par for the course. I was thinking maybe another one, first of his career for some guy, but then I remembered that Oleksy already scored against us.

2-0 win. Hank shoulders this weight but timely goals by Gaborik and Stepan punch Washington's ugly mug.

Make it 2-1 and I think this is it, too. Obligatory goal by Carlson or somebody with less than 3 goals on the season. Hank stops more than 28 shots.

Going for Hank's first shutout since Bill Cook was on the team? Bold prediction, sir.

Bold prediction of the evening:

Kreider with 2 goals.

Both assisted by the Whale's top scorer Newbury.

Ovechkin gets an Ovechtrick, scores 9 goals off of face offs. And I question, for 60 minutes, why we waived halpern.

Carlson scoring. Of course. Why wouldn't he?

I would like to think we can win this game, but What has this team showed us in 3 out of 4 years of Torts here other than letting us down?

I think we played our best game of the season against Washington last time, even though it was only a 2-1 win, so I'm hoping for a repeat of last game's performance.

Would have been shocked if you told me in the beginning of the season that Hank doesn't have at least 1 shutout this far into the season, and I just don't think he gets one this year surprisingly.

Rangers win 3-1.

Hopefully the team starts to find itself tonight.

Thankfully no one else vying for the bottom playoff spots has been able to put a run together but time and luck will start running out at some point. Enough with the road kill imitation. Time to get your **** together.
