I hope he ends up with the Hawks. But please not Boston or Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately it'll probably be either Boston or Pittsburgh. I don't think the Hawks need to dismantle their prospect pool for more scoring, and the Kings probably feel that if they won with the same group last season, then they can do it again.

Boston needs scoring like mad, and Pittsburgh have always needed a winger.

Iginla want an easy cup lmao.

Hopefully the team that land him fails and the Flames can rebuild.

Don't look now, but Pittsburgh actually has $8.4 million in cap space...

Iginla will probably land in Pitts.

Chance to play alongside Crosby/Malkin on a contending team ? as long as they make a good enough offer, Iginla will be a Penguin IMO.

We could use a goalie like Miller, who lets his team win despite being outshot
38_18. WE could also use a goalie who can stop all 18 shots.

Forget Iginla to the Pens, they just got Morrow per Darren Drager on Twitter.

Darren Dreger
@DarrenDreger
Source say the Pens and Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However, he has yet to waive no trade clause.

Seems its possible Morrow is off the market.

was just about to post this.

Highly doubt they'll go after both but you never know, might want Morrow to play with Sutter and Dupuis on the 3rd line and push depth guys down.

Technically they have more than enough to afford the pro-rated remaining amounts for BOTH players this season, if they so desired. It'd be more a matter of juggling the 50 contract maximum in the process, I imagine.

I would recommend you look at Miller's stats this year. He is playing quite poorly for him.

Your proposition is foolish and based on an over-reaction to a single game. Price is thoroughly outplaying him this season.

Joe Morrow for Brendan Morrow. Good deal for the Stars man. Hopefully Morrow can find his game again with the Pens. Hasn't looked good this year.

Good lord, the MTL equivalent of Morrow is Beaulieu basically. Huge get for Dallas for a declining UFA-to-be.

This probably also means Iginla to BOS.

And now you know why MB ain't going for rentals. It's not our time folks.

I'm not worried about either one of these guys, have you watched morrow play lately? He is done. Iggy isn't far behind him he doens't strike fear in me anymore he he still has a good shot but with his age and bad back he doesn't get around the ice like he used too

MB seems like he is being realistic and realizes this isn't a cup contending team still has alot of work to be done. I don't seem him risking the future for a pending UFA

So you're blaming Price for the 2 goals Vanek scored last night?

Are we really gonna have to put up with this crap about Price after every game the Habs lose until he's gone?

I hope you're right and he doesn't either.. The Habs need to keep all their highly regarded prospects and all their picks this year especially all the picks in the first 4 rounds.

I think at the deadline, the Habs won't be technically sellers, I see them shedding salary and trying to attain young NHL ready players.

For some reason, I think MB will try to move Kaberle out and give him a shot to play with a new team.

Its just my opinion but I think its the route he will go.

He will probably try to acquire maybe a tough dman to shore up the backend as we will need one more crease clearing dman. Like a Douglas Murray. But I think thats about it.
