#TribHKY >> Told B. Morrow is choosing between #Bruins and #pens. So, clearly this is developing situation.

Rossi is a little more credible.

Looks like Boston is a possibility.

With the Buffalo fire sale surely ready to go, I think Steve Ott would be a perfect addition to the team as well as a perfect winger to play with Gags or RNH

Positives:
-He is over 50% easy on his career face-offs
-plays in your face, how many times did ya curse his name over the years?
-Hits everything that moves and has a higher gear than Hartikainen

Negatives:
-Talent level is low....(He must be a MacT favorite in another world)

He might not be the answer for Nuge and Ebs, but I think he compliments Gagner almost perfectly

Ana 2nd round pick + Tobias Reider OR Curtis Hamilton for Steve Ott

Flame me

if morrow is bringing back a prospect like morrow back then hemsky will have significant value at the deadline, or at least you would think he would.

The fact that all-Star players like Sarich and Babchuk have NTCs is hilarious to me.

Well, to be fair Whitney and Horcoff have them for us.

...But those were instilled by other GMs. And half of our roster isn't littered with them.

I think the Oilers could fetch a much better deal for Hemsky, to be honest. From the trade proposals I've seen, Ducks fans have practically been giving Smith-Pelley away; apparently he has struggled. Although, I like DSP's potentional, there are better options for Hemsky, considering what a washed up Morrow is supposedly going to get.

Wow B. Morrow taking his talents to South Pennsylvania(I actually have no idea if it's in the south).

I wonder if Boston tries for Iggy, or if they hold out hope the Sharks' wheels fall off and get Clowe.

Still can't believe the stars scored a prospect like Morrow

For an over-aged forward past his prime

If Brendan Morrow returns a quality prospect, even Ryan Smyth might have value. If they decide to move Whitney, the Return should be solid, imo.

Morrow hasn't fallen to Smyth levels of suckage but if Morrow can net a blue chip prospect, anything is possible.

if brendan morrow is bringing that back we may be able to slang ryan jones for some serious value. I love the guy but if you can steal something from someone for him than you have to do it.

With how many teams are in contention this year, I feel as though the players who are available, are all going to get Gaustad esq returns

Well might as well expect nothing from the Oilers then. Nothing will be available for OKC, other than some college UFA's

Oilers should definitely be sellers if this trade is indicative of the market. And they should be targeting guys that look like they're going to step in to the NHL next season.

I think they basically have to replace five forwards and two defencemen for next season.

Pittsburgh Penguins still have not informed Joe Morrow that he's been traded to Dallas.

I guess it's safe to assume that the price for players like Clowe and Ott are going up as well.

Which means I don't know if I think the Oilers should be looking at players like that anymore.

Buy low, sell high!
