I'd take Maatta ahead of Subban, but Spooner or Khoklachev ahead of Maatta

With Bruins missing out on Morrow, watch talks intensify for Jerome Iginla.

Yea I can't imagine what the asking price is if Pitts did that trade instead.

I think most fans of both teams are good with Maatta, TK and a 1st.

What's so special about spooner, I honestly don't know anything about him. Can anyone give me a scouting report?

small forward with sick hands; just an incredible stick handler and passer, will someday qb a powerplay just like marc savard did for the bruins...has more speed than savard too and actually has a pretty decent shot; very intelligent player but from limited viewings, lacks intensity and needs to get a lot stronger to become an impact player.

Things just got a whole lot interesting. Were the Bruins after Morrow also because Iggy is too expensive or that he doesn't want to go to the East OR it was just a rumor? This is gonna be good.

The Penguins have 5 or 6 very good d prospects. Ask our fans who the untouchable guy is on the list and you will get vocal supporters of pretty much all of them. I, for instance, would see the rights to Scott Harrington pried away from my cold dead hands.

Cool thanks, but if he is a smallish forward then I'm wary, we are pretty soft already

I wonder if Feaster could pry Teravainen from Chicago if they'd be willing to pay it. Wouldn't hold my breath, but that would be sweet - seeing as Shero gave up Morrow for Morrow and we've all come to the conclusion that Igina > B. Morrow

I don't know if Morrow to Pitt hurts or helps Iginla's value. On one hand, its one less option for teams looking to upgrade.

On the other hand, its one less team interested in Iginla..

I feel like I can speak on behalf of all Hawks fans and say that I'd be beyond stunned and pissed if Stan gave up TT for Iginla.

Either way I think it ultimately hurts Iggy's trade value, as opposed to helping it. It is as if Shero hung up with Feaster and called Dallas, knowing how impossible bridging the gap was. I could see a gut reaction to go the other way but I still think the value is the same as I stated before: a blue chipper and a first rounder and not whatever Feaster was requesting.

I would prefer to not give up TT and would be mad at first, but I think that it would be worth it if they won the Cup.

It's all about winning the Cup, not hoping your team can be competitive with a potentially good prospect.

I think the Hawks could give up something like a 2014 1st, Pirri, and Morin. I'd do it in a second.

Iggy could still end up a penguin. Feaster wants a roster player coming back so now they can send one since they have Morrow. This is getting interesting.

Yeah, I'd get over it eventually, and Cups matter more than anything else, so I'd get over it, but at least in my eyes, Iginla is not exactly what we should be going for if we're dangling Teuvo.

This is going to be endlessly amusing if true.

Once again, HF vastly overrates their prospects. But I suspect, nothing will change.

Since getting Iggy is no guarantee of cup ,, Yeah I would be pissed

That package is too much overpayment though

Not really, Pitt still has their 1st rounder.

Pouliot + 1st + Kennedy for Iginla is still in play.
