Signed (Waived)

That just looks funny, like they realized they made a mistake or something

I hear every time Caley isn't the first to post a major/minor transaction, a puppy dog loses its eyes.

I would expect Dallas/Detroit or someone else who might play the Ducks in the playoffs to pick him up. No reason to let a team you might play get someone they want for free.

LOL, but seriously props to Caley...he's the best on here!

I hope the nucks pick him up. We could use some depth with all these injuries and Gillis looks like he just wants to sit and do nothing.

It wouldn't surprise me. I wonder what this means for the Ducks though... I felt like we pretty much had our roster figured out. Certainly am not going to complain about adding some grit to the bottom six though.

Very odd. We have too many players as it is when Bonino gets back. Unless they plan on sending Etem down, which would be a mistake IMO.

Bottom two line:
Cogliano-Koivu-Winnik
Beleskey-Steckel-Etem
Staubitz/Dvorak?

Not to mention we have Bonino coming back, but biggest possibility is holland is sent back, although he has 2 goals in 3 games so who knows. Odd for sure though.

Damn right, Caley is the MVP of the Trade Board.

That's kind of what I was getting at. I'd imagine Holland will be the odd man out once Boner is back from his injury.

Dominos...no really. Our roster is starting to get packed. I'd be shocked if Anaheim doesn't make several trades. Especially if we manage to land DeKeyser. Doubt we will but if we do Allen or...maybe and Lydman could be on their way out.

This is how the isles picked up Nabokov

Hey now, this is a jameswrjobe53 thread. Caley gets praise all the time, but this is jameswrjobe53's big moment! Quit stealing his spotlight!

This is like Scott Gomez scoring a goal and the thread being filled with "Isn't Stamkos great?"

I always liked his game. He can still fill a role on a third line.

I don't know about Dallas but highly doubt Detroit has any interest. We have enough bottom 6ers as it is.

Hmm, not sure if another team will claim him. I won't rule it out after the Devils claimed Kostopoulos.

If he manages to clear and plays for Anaheim, why not? A decent bottom-six player who is defensively responsible and can PK. Anaheim's looking to make a deep playoff run and you can never have too much depth for the playoffs. These types of players come in especially handy around this time of year. He won't offer much offense but that's not what he'll be asked to do.

Thanks, everyone, I really appreciate it.
