Nagy has no playoff crediental and the one time he did play in the playoffs, he racked up 0 points in 5 games.
You can't compare him to Brière or Gomez because of that.
I can compare him to Briere and Gomez because I feel he's a player of the same general calibre, clearly a notch above York and Dumont.
But that aside, I can't see why 1 playoff season makes Briere worth $2M more. A few hundred k more, ok, I guess I could buy that, going purely on stats and Nagy's bad luck of being on crappy teams. $4.5M should have been attainable, on that basis. So his agent should still be in big trouble.
Playoffs are generally a huge part of the salary negociations. In Briere's case, it's also the "flavor of the month" in a sence because he was really a story himself, coming back from injury and playing so-well in the playoffs THIS YEAR.
There's no-way i was expecting Briere money, or Gomez money for that matter.
I'm still surprised mind you, close to 1M lower than i expect.
