That's total rubbish if it's true. I'll surf my DirecTV for it soon though. HAS to be on somewhere?

I saw a tweet last night from Jeffb and he said it isn't on anywhere on his cable lineup, doubt DirecTV has it. This time of year ESPNU would rather show two teams in the NIT tourney over womens hockey.

ncaa.com has it streaming for free today.

Notre Dame hangs on to win the CCHA title which means the Gophs won't have to face Michigan in the first round. They'll now likely face Yale.

The Unbeatables lead 4-1 after 2. Really fun game to watch so far.

Looks like BU is trying to be too pretty with the puck. Goofs don't mess around with it.

Seriously, this team deserves more love. Boldly going where no women have gone before!

Really?! 41-0?! National Champs back to back?!

If any of you all ever have a daughter athlete in the family, as I do, you will understand the awe this inspires.

Amazing job Lady Gophers! To have a perfect record like this with the level women's college hockey has reached today is really impressive.

I'll also applaud the Lady Goph's...but I'm wondering how good this is for the sport of women's hockey when there is so much dominance by a single team, and to a lesser degree, a single conference? Think about it, a team from the WCHA has won EVERY title in NCAA women's hockey!

IMO, a little parity is what the sport needs to truly grow on a Nat'l scale.

Does the WCHA dissolve for women as well next season?

Seriously though, the NE teams have been to the finals 8 of 13 times. They'll catch up.

Glad I was not the only hockey rube to watch the lady Gophers...The North Dakota (3OT) game was as riveting as any game I've seen...Then to finish off the undefeated season with all the pressures, was quite impressive. They definitely can lay the claim to the GOAT in their sport...With the ladies game expanding as it has, no team will equal (much less surpass) a perfect (record) season.

Congrats to the Lady Gophers on an amazing season. Wish I would have been able to watch the game today.

It's a travesty that game wasn't on at least SOMEWHERE. There are a dozen channels they could've/should've been on.

I just really hope SCSU for once can make a move in this tourney for a change.

I think SCSU got a great draw. No one there we can't beat. We played damn hard against UW, just could not get more than one past Rumpel and IMO that's a much different game if his thrown stick is called correctly but I expect nothing less from WCHA refs. Regroup, refocus and kick ass.

SCSU and UW are in the toughest regions in my opinion. Whoever comes out of those regions is going to have to really earn it.

From what I saw it seems they are really looking for U/NoDak, and then a U/Wisconsin tilt in the Frozen four, and likely ND/BC on the other side.

Probably the best for "ratings" I'd think, but I doubt it plays out that way. If the Gophers play like they did against CC, they'll lose to Yale.

Minnesota will still be a member of the WCHA for women's hockey. The CCHA doesn't sponsor it and neither Michigan nor Michigan State field a women's team. So there would only be 4 Big Ten teams (OSU is in a WCHA member for women's hockey and formerly a CCHA member for mens while Penn State's women play in the CHA) instead of the requisite 6.

Funny I thoughts SCSU and MSU got screwed over in that bracket, toughest bracket by far in the tourney. Denver and Wisconsin got no favors as well traveling as far as they do.

If the possibility of the Sioux doesn't get the heads out of the Gophers a**** and ready to go this weekend nothing will.

Congrats to the Lady Gophers though on a feat truly unmatched. CONGRATULATIONS!

I saw it different. It looked to me that in recovery, Rumpel's stick got caught up in Schultze's skate.

No one touched it according to Rumpel after the game. Not saying it didn't happen but that was his take.

Missed his comment.

At full speed from the X, I too thought he threw it. But Badger writer Andy Johnson posted a picture earlier today showing what looks like a collision.

Link to his entire analysis

I don't know.

I saw it live too and the first thing I thought was "Wait what?" and the second thing was "I bet this gets on sportscenter".
