It's been all Sea Dogs in the first, jumping at whistles for offsides/goalie stoppage, etc. They just haven't really been in position to make any proper calls.

Add some missed SJ penalties as well. Ashley was hooked in the corner in front of the ref.

What did Drouin get the unsportsmanlike conduct for?? Seeing as how Mac took a penalty at the same time, I'm thinking he may have said something to someone??

Haha, yeah maybe you should have also said its a freakin 1 seed vs a 16th seed....not like a 1 vs 8 or 2 vs 7 like in the other two major junior leagues. Let them have their fun, they finally can see their team dominate a much weaker Sea Dogs team that tore apart that league for two years straight.

Officiating tonight was ****ing horrible.

Drouin gets a 10 for a chirp after a bull**** call on Mackinnon yet Villemaire has been *****ing to the refs constantly in the first 2 games.

From the 2 camera angles they have (why there is no camera over the net I have no idea) it doesn't look like the puck crossed goal line.

However, SJ's goal was clearly a kicking motion. Do the video reviewers not know the rules? It boggles my mind how that was allowed to stand as a goal.

I think last night was there best chance at stealing one. I think they will remain competitive but the next 2 games should be routine wins (5-2, 4-1). There's only so long they can last out with how much Halifax has dominated the play thus far.

Auger will learn a lot from this. Next year he'll have more support too.

Really he's had 2 good games so far. We buried more of our great chances on Friday night. Good practice for the boys to try and beat a great goalie. There might be a couple more we have to get through in order to achieve our goal in these playoffs.

Libb...every rink must have a camera angle above the net for goals crossing the line...If the ref calls no goal then it must be conclusive that the puck crossed the line for the goal to be changed not an "I think it crossed" same being said if langille called it in then to change it it must be conclusive...further the replay of the goal line are not allowed to be played of the in stadium replay system for the fans...just so ya know

I've physically inspected the rafters above the net. There is no camera to be seen. The only angles they have is behind the net and off to the side of the net.

Here's the thing though... it was called a goal on the ice. The replay would of had to have shown the puck clearly not going over the line. To me it was close but you can neither confirm if the puck went in or not, meaning it was inconclusive. The goal should have stood.

You're the one that plays for the team, you should know this.

There's nothing on Willy Palov's, Halifax's, John Moore's, or MacKinnon's twitter accounts. He may have aggravated it, but not enough to need to report it.
