Source say the Pens and Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However, he has yet to waive no trade clause.

I believe Joe Morrow would go to Dallas as part of the deal for Brendan Morrow.

That's a good trade for Dallas. B Morrow is finished.

Trade or bench Briere

By most Pens accounts, Joe Morrow has been extremely good. Their kinda pissed if he gets traded.

Brendon Morrow hasn't done **** this year and they would be trading off one of their best D prospects plus a possibly pick for him. Do it Dallas. Make up for the fact that they butt ****ed you when it came to Neal. Send the pain back.

Brendan Morrow has been awful this season.

Interesting to see what the Pens give up. It is a similar (in a sense) situation to Briere.

Meltdown on the Pens board if it is prospect Morrow going back.

It does reinforce the trade-for-reputation mindset of some GMs, which bodes well to attempt to move Briere.

Eklund called it again!!!

Pens fans assumed Joe Morrow would never be moving in a million years and many years ago, Brendan Morrow was thought to be a Star for life.

How good is Eklund?!?

What an awful trade for ****tsburgh. A declining power forward for a top tier prospect. Only way they can win this trade is if they win the cup.

It was a joke, Eklund was calling earlier that a HUGE trade that would shock the hockey world was in the works, involving a player that everyone thought would NEVER be dealt, an untouchable if you will.

It was such a vague joke of a rumor that I was being sarcastic. Since he literally takes credit for everything, I thought maybe he'd try and play it off like this was the trade he was talking about.

FWIW, he now claims it involves a team in the Southeast and a team out West, aka it must involve Ovie/Green/Backstrom from the caps OR MSL/Lecavalier from the Bolts.

Pens fans are claiming Morrow was a terrible prospect and B Morrow will revert to his former 30+ goal scoring self and they'll win the cup

Brendan Morrow, eh. Sounds to me like this would have been a good trade like five years ago.

lolPens.

Trading away a stud d prospect for a ******, overpaid, declining and hated (by Stars fans) winger.

Hilarious.

Can't wait until they flop in the playoffs again.

Bruins were in the mix for Morrow and lost; good news for Philly, if you're thinking Briere to Boston is still a possibility.

Bruins have nothing in the minors that could help us

Krug and a 1st. Or a 1st and Svedberg. Svedberg has had a damn good year in the AHL this year. Plus look at the 2 years he played in the Swedish Elite league at stats. I think bringing him in as the backup would be awesome. Even though we could just trade for Krug + 1st and then sign Eriksson...
