Given his past track record i'm guessing King/Edwards.
As an aside, I think the most telling thing about this entire process is how quiet the Flames management has been. Anytime the idea of trading Iginla has come up management has come out almost immediately and denied it.... the silence this time is eerie.
The one thing that concerns me from a Flames standpoint is how the supposed 'list' is only at 4. I'd have ideally liked it to be a little bit longer to start a bit of a war.... but I guess that won't be the case. Should be interesting to see what happens.
EDIT: For what its worth, Mike Rogers (the Flames color guy on radio) says that he thinks Iggy will stay when it's all said and done. Not sure if he's connected but interesting nonetheless.
This proposal is based on iginla signing an extension**
Frolik (cap reasons)
No possible way the Hawks resign him or are even able to. Toews and Kane are up in a couple of years. Hawks would have to clear out Bolland as well. He comes to the Hawks as a rental, only way I see it.
Kiprusoff is the piece LA could give up good futures for...Iginla by himself isn't. The above deal is an overpayment by LA unless Iginla is signed for cheap first (like for Dustin Penner money for the next three seasons, he retires a King).
