How in God's name have you done this? I live in Saskatoon and I have CBC Saskatoon, Toronto, and Vancouver and every Saturday all three play the Toronto game and I have to stream the Habs game from my laptop to my tv.

In Alberta or BC if you have TELUS TV then you can get cbc Montreal Winnipeg Halifax ect if you get their time choice theme pack. (watch other time zones)

I am in Calgary as well but TELUS TV is not available in my building downtown so I have to go with shaw TV. It's the worst provider ever so I have to get RDS and it's only in standard def.

Shaw or Telus? How were you getting the CBC Montreal feed?

Edit: Just saw the above post. Do you need to specify, or are those the default city feeds?

I have telus, and I also get CBC Montreal while living in Vancouver. I'd be shocked if Bell doesn't have that option, because telus and Bell TV are virtually the same.

When you subscribe to these providers, they just give you CBC stations from across Canada. Thankfully, the montreal CBC is shown in HD too

No.. lol. I said I WISH cable companies (I have Telus Optik TV) would give us this option. Like I could tell them I want my CBC from Montreal feed, not Calgary's.

I still have the default, which is Calgary.

I work for telus just ask for time shift and you will get CBC montreal. It may not be in HD though. Try to swap it out with a theme pack that you don't use because it would be 9 extra bucks a month if you dont.

You're right. Im probably not going to get it though. I think im better off with the french pack with RDS on it. RDS has all 82 games while CBC only has saturday games..

TSN habs is only a regional channel, so no chance of that.

I have no idea why you dont get CBC Montreal. It might have something to do with not subscribing to a time shifting option

you can see that cbc montreal is clearly there http://telus.com/content/tv/sat/programming/

PS: Toronto/Montreal CBC stations are included as HD

Yeah, I already checked. Its another theme pack.. it's all good. I thought its supposed to be included with the basics. Oh well, I'll just keep my RDS.

Anyone else think the guy in the Habs sweater in the second pic of the first post kinda looks like Markov?

Anyway, depending on if I'm at school or not, holding down the Habs fanbase in NJ and West Virginia here.

i don't know what fan base is larger

but on the weekend of the Montreal Pittsburgh game the Leafs were not playing

that was the only game on in the whole country

also the Leafs didn't get a Quebec audience for the Pittsburgh game

anyway we all know Toronto and Montreal are the two biggest fan bases

the games on April 13 and April 27 will probably be the highest rated regular season

games in Canada this year

I drove to Bellingham, WA from Vancouver and while I was out shopping there someone wrote 'GO HABS GO' on the back of my dirty truck right underneath my habs sticker

More hab fans outside of montreal then in montreal, another reason this must have french gm/coachs/players stuff is a slap to most of the fan base, just my opinion

People in T.O are dumb enough to pay outrageous prices for tickets of a team that can't make the PO 7 years in a row. 1 billion $ is not what the team is making, it's the total value of the franchise. Imagine if the team was to be successful in the playoffs, they could make more money by pumping ticket prices than any other professional sports franchise in the world.

Montreal was off on (Sat). Jan. 26th and had a afternoon game the following Saturday during Super Bowl weekend.

TOR-NYR, Jan 26, CBC: 1.87 million (coast-to-coast)

BOS-TOR, Feb 2, CBC: 2.189 million (coast-to-coast)

I can't stand CBC and their Ruins/Toronto bias

The large population, in this region, can be deceiving. At least in terms of Maple Leafs fans. Granted the Toronto logo is prevalent. But, there are other factors to consider.

The noticeable amount of non-Leaf fans around southern Ontario. Some moved to the Toronto area, from other parts of the country, for employment purposes and have maintained their old allegiance.

Then there's the homegrown fans - like myself - who, during their youth, decided to cheer for another club. Other than the local one ... Toronto.
