Kelowna lost yesterday as well. First game upsets galore.

Amazing achievement for Legault, the kid probably won't be able to wipe the smile off of his face all day.To be perfectly honest, I believe he is one of the Oil Kings' most important players. Plays up and down the lineup and suceeds on any line he is thrown on. Excellent to see that he and the team are firing on all cylinders.

I doubt it. You know he's 19 right?

Happy birthday, LB. Sandwich your birthday between two SOs.

Meh, he's a classic CIS player to me. Good junior player for sure. We'll see how he does in his overage year but I would put the smart money on that.

Gotta think that Kootney goes back to Skapski for game 2, as bad as he was Hoflin was worse, an absolute rebound machine.

It was very close, my friends and I were sitting on the goal line and half of us thought it was in half didnt. But I'm leaning towards no goal.

Quick question:

If a player isn't drafted the first time(or even second time) around, can he be signed to an ELC?

Does it depend on age?

0-0 after 2 periods between the Oil Kings and the Ice. Shots are 22-20 for the Oil Kings. They haven't scored a goal in the series yet but it looks like the Ice really locked it down after Game One.

So they win 9-0 the first game and they can barely win this time

The Ice are a tenacious, pesky team. The Oil Kings are fantastic but Game One was an anomaly. This game is more like their contests from the regular season.

I hate the Ice. Worst possible matchup the tam could have gotten.

Kelowna going down 2-0 is surprising.

The Oil Kings have outshot the Ice 40-15 since the start of the 2nd period. Skapski is standing on his head.

That's the stuff first round upsets are made of.

Can these games be found on tv anywhere? Otherwise I might just pay the 20$ or so for a ticket and go

Luke Philp scores a weak one on Brossoit and Kootaney wins late in the first overtime after the Kings dominated the vast majority of the extra period. This worries me.

And there you go.

2-1 Ice in OT as the series shifts back to Kootenay. Ugly goal too. This was a typical Kootenay Ice game. The Oil Kings had better find a way to dig deep on the road...

Tonight's game was a mirror image of their regular season tilts. Frustrating as hell.

I'm just concerned because Lazar and Samuelsson have yet to factor in despite the 9 goal outburst in Game One. Samuelsson in particular was a turnover machine in that one. I'm not entirely sure how he played tonight as I just listened on the radio.

He was alright. Threw two huge hits but really did nothing offensively.

I have heard from some that were down in that end that it was in yes.

It looked like it might have been in from where I was too.

But they didnt even take a look at it.

Officiating was pretty bad.
