I don't think anything big happens. I'm guessing just a bottom 6 winger.

Thinking something like this, but a centre, not a winger.

Peter Mueller for one of Tallon's picks. And Bottom six W/C who can PK and win FO.

Mueller isn't an improvement over the Hawks current top 9 wingers and he cant play C

Would be pretty worthless pickup

That's what she said.

But I agree with this. I'm guessing a head-scratcher Morrison type move.

Well there is this from CBS eye on hockey: Ever since it has been evident that the Calgary Flames might trade Jarome Iginla, the focus has been on three teams mainly: the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins and Los Angeles Kings.

It's going to stay that way with the Chicago Blackhawks added into the mix.

And the Pens are now out of that running...so take this for what it's worth.

We are not getting Iginla. And any move will be a role player.

A bottom 6 C who is competent at FO's. That's all they really need.

Not sure what to expect. Bowman was always active around the TD. This year, it's a bit different compared to the last 2 years. This year we are Cup Favorites. We have some good trade assets like Pirri or Frolik or yes, Morin. Can add Bickell too if needed.

If that's enough for a guy that will make an impact? Morrow for Morrow helped us a bit. Setting the price for Rentals like Iginla to a good prospect only. Feaster won't get a 1st + roster player + prospect.

Frolik + Pirri + 3rd (14) is what I'd be willing to give up.

Mueller or Goc from FLA would be enough for me personally.

I see a role player or two coming the Hawks way. No big fish.

I'll be conservative and say Max Talbot with $300K kicked in per year by Philly. Bowman had interest in him before he signed in Philly. Great PKer with experience.

Either nothing or we swap a role player for a role player. I hope it's nothing. Then we can put the Stan controversy to bed once and for all. We win the Cup, he isn't questioned anymore. We bomb, he goes.

Yeah he's definitely going to get fired if his President's Trophy winning team loses in the Cup Final

I wouldn't consider that "bombing". 1st or 2nd round though, hell yeah it is, see ya!

Is everything so black and white for you?

Do you actually think Bowman should be fired if we win the regular season, but get outed again in the first round?

I understand the sentiment that the regular season doesn't count for anything... but what I don't understand is how it the GM's fault if a team dominates all season long and falls flat in the playoffs. To me that's 110% a coaching issue, if anything. A that point, the team literally has an entire season to point to as evidence of what the roster can achieve... if you win the Prez trophy there's clearly not a problem with talent... what else is the GM supposed to do at that point?

Coach goes before the GM if we "bomb". The team as is, is good enough to win the cup, thanks to Bowman. It's up to the players and the coach in the playoffs.
