Roy. Just hope we get the Dallas that made the Neal/Gogo trade and not the Morrow/Morrow trade
I don't think Roy would be a good fit beside Kessel. He's small and bad on faceoffs. He's a better playmaker than Bozak but I feel like that line would be stuck in their own zone even more than they already are.

Roy, I can't see us getting another smallish Center, we are trying to get bigger down the middle not smaller.
agreed, idk what to do with bozak, because i feel like he could be more productive, but i dont want to rid him and then get someone who is worse with kessel then be ****ed, kessel is/has turned into more of an all round player then just a one dimensional shooter, gah. i guess i'll just got with whatever nonis does then really.
A more likely trade for Calgary could be goalie Miikka Kiprusoff. Very attractive with one year left at a salary of $1.5 million. He still has game, although he’s not the stand-on-his-head player he’s been in the past. There are some cracks showing up (it happens when you play 70 games a year in the regular season), but why wouldn’t the Leafs deal for Kiprusoff, who’s 36? Ed Belfour worked there in his declining NHL years. Or Tampa Bay, with Anders Lindback out (high ankle sprain); the Lightning did fine with Dwayne Roloson.
roy has speed and skill tho - a good partner for kessel i think
He's not the Roy from a couple of years ago. Considering the price tag on Morrow, I want no part of Roy. Believe me, he's not worth it. Either Nonis goes all in for a stud or nothing at all, it just doesn't make sense to give up top assets for a half decent rental.
I'd really like Roy, but the cost would probably be some prospects and Bozak .. Since the Leafs aren't likely to make a serious run in the playoffs you're basically sacrificing some solid assets (the prospects/picks on top of Bozak to get Roy) to see if Roy can gel with Kessel or the team's top 9 instead of signing him on July 1st on a gamble and seeing if he'd work out
