I don't know much about Hall's bad rep for hockey sense because I think he creates a lot of chances for himself but E.Kane will always be that 60 point guy if he doesn't improve his tunnel vision and bad angle shots.
E.Kane...skates fast, past the point where he can get a good shot, then shoots the puck...rebound goes into corner, usually no harm done.
E.Kane again skates fast, goes all the way behind the net, looks for wraparound chances when his teammates have just crossed the blue line.
I don't know Hall's tendencies but I think Hall generates a lot more chances on his own than E. Kane does.
Hall's lack of hockey sense gets massively over blown. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he's a goal scorer that has as many assists(or at least very close) as Kane has points. He also hasn't taken a single huge hit so far this season.
Taylor Hall has no hockey sense whatsoever. His talent alone makes him a better player than Evander Kane though. He completely controls the pace of the game, and while he makes stupid decisions on a daily basis, teams can't ignore how he can create chances out of nowhere.
